We had a kick off meeting to discuss our goals and objectives. From there the team delivered mock ups and ideas for our site. The team designed and developed the new big commerce site incorporating a trade section for our buyers. They simultaneously worked on SEO and copy for our site making sure our site was built correctly from behind the scenes as well as the front end.

We had mega menus, sliders, and a smooth experience created for our users from start to finish.

We had various members of the team working with us, too many to mention. Our main point of call and project managers on various projects equated to 4 - 6.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Since launching our site we have had a large increase in sales, our users find our site easier to navigate and enjoy the overall professional trusted feel of the site. Our mega menus and mobile integration have helped our increase in sales. Our trade site has made it easier to accommodate many different site users as we sell both B2B and B2C. We can now cater to both users seamlessly.

We have a main hub that all projects are assigned to, we had full access to this at all times which was great to see the full transparency of the work being carried out and by whom. We had weekly and bi monthly meetings from various teams while the project was being built, we also had and still have weekly contact with our marketing team to ensure all our marketing on google, social media and other outlets are running smoothly and performing as they should. All deadlines were met and the team are always on hand if we need them.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The constant contact and support from the company. They were in touch throughout the entire project =. They were always on hand if we needed to reach out with questions, amendments, or support. They kept the project moving forward at a good rate however also allowed us time to get information back to them without feeling pressured. If we felt we were unable to get information to them in a timely manner they took steps to see if one of their team could take the task on themselves to ensure we were not over whelmed. A team that was behind us every step of the way.

Not that we can think of as the team outdid our expectations.

I initially searched online for companies offering SEO services. That was how I found Coalition. I emailed them and within a couple of minutes, they responded and asked questions about my needs. After talking with them through a live chat, Coalition scheduled a Zoom call. Their willingness to meet face-to-face showed that their team was serious. About a day after that call, I spoke with one of their sales representatives who presented their different offerings.

After working with multiple marketing companies before them, Coalition Technologies is the best. We’re driven by leads and how much the leads are converting. We are continuously growing.

How did Coalition Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very customer-oriented. They reply immediately to my texts, emails, and phone calls. The team provides us with shorter reports on a weekly basis and more detailed reports on a monthly basis.

Our main tool is Basecamp. They send me tasks, and I reply to them. I have the team lead’s personal phone number. She’s always available to answer questions or respond to emergencies, even on the weekend.

We’re pleased with their service. Our business is always evolving, and things can be different on a daily basis. As we evolve, they evolve with us. They try to accommodate our requests and requirements.

The deliver was fantastic and quick, and the results are not generate 100% yet. Over the next couple months the work that Coalition did should help with more views, and traffic.

Every business has somewhere to improve, but for the job that I requested I believe that they did this wonderfully. No improvement on this particular job.

We needed to hire a marketing team with experience in three areas: social media, email, and SEO.

What was the scope of their involvement?

On a monthly basis, Coalition comes up with a strategy and plan to manage our SEO campaigns, taking a look at what we need to improve for our products. 

Regarding emails, we have a marketing strategy with them where we plan out, at least three months in advance, what we need to market and what goals we’re trying to achieve. Social media goes hand in hand with that portion of the engagement.

What is the team composition?

It’s grown from three resources to five direct contacts. Behind the scenes, the teams working with them are a lot bigger.

We were evaluating several companies, and Coalition was recommended to us by a friend. We took a look at them and they checked all of our boxes.

We spend between $6,000–$7,000 on a monthly basis with them.

We’ve been working together since January 2020. We have an ongoing engagement with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The metrics we get from them on a monthly basis are on organic search rankings, traffic, keyword rankings, social media engagement, and email opens and click-throughs. All of those metrics have been steadily improving month-over-month.

How did Coalition Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

We have biweekly meetings with Coalition, where we decide what to tackle in the following month. We communicate mainly through email and use Basecamp as our project management software.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed with the knowledge they have of their fields. Coalitions’ ability to react quickly and make the changes we need is excellent. They’re a great team that works hard, and you can tell behind the scenes they’re also subject matter experts. They’re very knowledgeable in each of the categories we’re looking to improve.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their asset creation team could use a little work. The actual content itself is good, but the assets need to be improved. Aside from that, there’s nothing else. We’re happy with everything Coalition’s done so far.

Be specific with what areas you need help in, and try to give concrete examples of what you’re trying to do. Have a strategy in place for what you want to achieve and what budget you have in mind.
