**A video-led creative agency**
We’re a Video-Led Creative Agency

We are creative at our core – it’s in our DNA.  For over a decade, we’ve been helping clients tell their unique story, inspire their audiences and standout in their industry.  From creative ideation to execution, we partner with clients to achieve results.

Integrated Approach that Supercharges Creative

In world where there’s increasing competition for decreasing attention, brands have difficulty standing out.  With creative at the center, we seamlessly integrate insights and media to supercharge our work.  Insights provides focus for creative, and the creative strategy shapes the media plan. All three parts work together – nothing lives in isolation.  This unique approach to creative makes us more than just different, it makes us better.

Teams Built for Results

We’re successful because we design our teams to deliver results.  We’ve seen what doesn’t work. Typical agencies have large teams of inexperienced staff that work in siloes.  We create small, highly experienced teams that collaborate in real time.  The result?  Better work with no missed deadlines or budget overages.

Focused, Fast and Flexible

As your partner, we focus on your goals and measure ourselves by the impact we make.  We work fast because we deliver value (not hours).  We’re flexible because we understand every project is unique and the only constant in any project is change.

**The Review** — Aug 15, 2025

**Feedback Summary**: Colormatics' efforts have led to increased website traffic 10-20 times and millions of impressions across platforms for the client. The team excels in providing timely, on-budget items, has set up data dashboards, and holds biweekly meetings. Colormatics' recommendations and transparency stand out.
""Colormatics goes above and beyond and gives us recommendations on how to reach our goal.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I'm the VP of a production company that makes and distributes movies, TV shows, comedy specials, and documentary series. I oversee different franchises that the company owns. We also make toys, merchandise, books, and audio content.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics? We needed help with paid media services.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? We had an animated show that we were releasing, and we wanted to market it. Colormatics helps us with PPC, search engine marketing (SEM), and social media marketing. The team has set up digital paid media ads for the show on streaming and social media platforms, as well as other digital places where we can run ads. The team also guides us with our ads and helps track everything with dashboards and data tracking. We've been working with the team on different projects. Initially, we set a budget, and they set us up on other platforms. We've been running ads on Meta, primarily Facebook and Instagram, Google Ads, TikTok, Twitch, Minecraft, Roblox, and different streaming services. We've created the ads in-house and talked with Colormatics about the specs we need. The team has provided technical and creative guidance. For example, they've told us what messaging we should have in the first three seconds of the ad and other things we need to keep in mind. We've also sent them some cuts of the ads. What is the team composition? We've mainly dealt with the CEO and another top executive from Colormatics. They've been our primary contact and overseen our project, from creative input, data tracking, dashboards, and meetings. How did you come to work with Colormatics? We found Colormatics on Clutch and other platforms. We interviewed several companies and liked them because they were very transparent about what they would recommend. Other companies just told us what we wanted to hear.We wanted a transparent company because this was one of the first times we were doing this type of marketing, so we had no experience. It was helpful that Colormatics told us what would and wouldn't work instead of just following what we wanted to do.How much have you invested with them? We've spent between $150,000–$175,000.What is the status of this engagement? We started working together in March 2025. The original project has been completed, but we're working on new projects with them.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?Since this is the first time we've done this type of marketing, it's hard to compare the results. However, our website traffic has increased 10–20 times every day. We can't track all data, for example, the backend of streaming services, but we've had a couple of million impressions across all platforms.Colormatics' work has exceeded our expectations. We've worked with multiple companies for this type of project, and Colormatics goes above and beyond. The team doesn't just do the paid media; they also help us set up everything we need to track data and figure out a strategy that allows us to work across multiple divisions. They help us understand the entire business. How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?Colormatics delivers on time and within budget. The team effectively manages how to get the most value from our budget and time.We communicate via email and phone calls. Colormatics has also made a custom dashboard where we can track everything. We use Google Analytics to track data and other platforms like Shopify and Meta Ads Manager. We have biweekly meetings, and we can call them anytime we have a question. They've also developed the strategy for what we should do.What did you find most impressive about them?Colormatics' transparency is impressive. They don't just do what we want; they do what they recommend will help our business and overall goal. Other companies follow what we say, but Colormatics goes above and beyond and gives us recommendations on how to reach our goal. The team also strives to help us set up all our systems so we can properly track everything. They ensure everything works together in a flywheel to help us make sense of all the marketing. Are there any areas they could improve? No, Colormatics' communication has been excellent, and the team has exceeded expectations.Do you have any advice for potential customers?Listen to Colormatics and ask them questions. Colormatics excels at understanding where we're coming from. Let the team know the overall goals; they'll give excellent advice and be transparent about what you're looking for.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?Colormatics has delivered all the different video assets promised on schedule. Even going above and beyond as there was enough footage from our shoot to generate additional 30's 15's and 6's. We also had a complex end card matrix as we wanted to customize the asset for different retailers and the products those retailers carried. Colormatics was accommodating and worked with us to accomplish this for a reasonable cost.Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?Chris, Sean and Aaron on did a great job of keeping our project on schedule. Often as the client we were the ones running 24-48 hours late on our deliverables and feedback. They were always transparent about what that would do to timelines and giving us a friendly nudge when needed. They were a great culture fit and incredibly collaborative, it felt like I was working with my own internal team the whole time both with the consistency of communicating with the same core group and the attention and focus that core group gave us throughout the project. What was your primary form of communication with Colormatics?In-Person MeetingVirtual MeetingEmail or Messaging AppWhat did you find most impressive or unique about this company? Our brand had one of the most popular viral videos of the 2010's with a unicorn pooping. So Colormatics and our team had a tall task of coming up with a concept that was both funny and educational while also being something totally different from that video that stood on its own. I think the full suite of service, from focus group, concept, production, to final product was unique and allowed the team to ultimately come up with a concept and final product that gave our brand a more adult feel while still paying homage to the original video. This team knocked it out of the park. Are there any areas for improvement or something Colormatics could have done differently?I was incredibly happy with how this project went, I honestly can't think of any critical feedback to offer. Their work was exemplary and their team is full of genuinely good people.

**The Review** — Feb 22, 2023

**Feedback Summary**: The videos produced by Colormatics have been well-received, resonating well with the target audience and conveying the client’s message properly. The team was thorough, communicative, and quick, using Zoom and Frame.io to collaborate. Moreover, they were organized and efficient during production.
"“They were able to capture as much content as they could in the best possible way.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

We are Life Happens, a nonprofit organization. Our mission is to educate people about the importance of specific insurance products. We promote the importance of life insurance, disability insurance, and long-term care insurance products — those are the three main products we try to make people aware of. We do not sell or endorse any specific insurance company; we simply try to raise awareness of those particular products.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

One of our most important campaigns is our life insurance awareness month. For our marketing, we typically use a celebrity spokesperson every year to help us share our message. With these spokespeople, we always get a fraction of a production day with them.

During our production, we capture content for our campaign, including videos, photos, and social media content. Our goal is to get as much content as possible to use to propel our message out to the public. For 2022, we hired Colormatics to help us with our video production.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Colormatics handled the entire video production process for our campaign. They worked with us through the scripting process of our project, to location scouting, the production day itself and all the logistics of that, as well as with post-production with some editing. They brought the gear, production crew, and craft services.

What is the team composition?

We worked directly with Chris (CEO & Co-Founder), who also acted as the director for the day. Additionally, we worked with Allison (Accounts Manager), David (Editor), Jackson (Producer), and a photographer.

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

I found Colormatics on Clutch and saw their reviews. Then, I reached out to them through their website, and we had a kick-off call. We came to them with a rough premise, but they listened to us and gave us a few options and estimations, and we then chose one of those.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March 2022 and finished everything in early June 2022.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The videos produced by Colormatics have been featured on our website and social media accounts, including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Thanks to these videos, our message for our campaign was really well-received. We also heard very positive feedback from our board and members of the life insurance industry. Additionally, the celebrity spokesperson shared it in their own channels and received very good feedback from their followers.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

Colormatics did an exceptional job managing our project. They were detail-oriented and offered quick turnaround times.

Regarding the scheduling, the entire project went smoothly. Colormatics was always willing to set up a call and work within our timelines. They have a lot of different levels in their organization process, which helped us keep the project moving forward. Moreover, the production day was very well-organized, and everything went seamlessly — Colormatics did all the heavy lifting.

As for communication tools, we mostly had phone calls and exchanged emails. We also had some Zoom calls throughout the project. Additionally, Colormatics used Frame.io to make video revisions, which was very helpful for us, allowing us to give notes on specific parts of the video. This tool made the feedback and revision process very smooth.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Colormatics was able to creatively work within our budget. Additionally, I was very impressed with how much work they were able to complete during the production day. We had a five-hour block with our celebrity spokesperson, and Colormatics was able to maximize that time. They planned a very smart and efficient day around that time beforehand, so they were able to capture as much content as they could in the best possible way.

Are there any areas they could improve?

During the production process, we had a video village set up a short distance from the filming itself. It would have been great if we had a walkie-talkie or headset so we could provide feedback directly to the director without having to walk to where he was.

**The Review** — Jan 22, 2023

**Feedback Summary**: The videos produced by Colormatics have become an important part of the client’s communications and sales materials, receiving positive feedback and achieving their goal. The team was responsive, accommodating, and collaborative via Zoom and Google Docs, and their professionalism was outstanding.
"“Colormatics made our care team feel comfortable and bring their best selves.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m an executive and department head for an organization that supports families coping with loss. We partner with employers and life insurance companies in the US to provide our services to the families they support. In my role, I’m responsible for all of our communications, marketing, PR, advertising, storytelling, and go-to-market strategies.

Our service is twofold. On the one hand, we offer a mobile and web application. On the other hand, we offer support via our care team, which is available 24/7. This team is comprised of trained professionals who spend a lot of time with families and make themselves available to help them through their journey of loss.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

We already had many ways to explain our app's value and how it supports people. However, it was very important for us to communicate to our stakeholders and business partners the value that the care team provides and our approach to care. Therefore, we hired Colormatics to create an explainer video for us.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Colormatics helped us produce the video we needed. Initially, I told them the story we were planning to tell. Given that our care team is semi-remote to cover all time zones, our plan was to bring the whole team together from across the country for a one-day shooting in New York.

After discussing the project, we had a few iterations with Colormatics regarding our different options for production regarding costs, expected results, and the ability to tell the story with each option. Eventually, we landed on a production package that included a detailed description of how many crew members would be involved, how much shooting time we would have, and how many subjects would be featured in the video.

During the onboarding process, Colormatics also helped us understand the scriptwriting process, and we agreed on a price for the project. After that, we worked closely on the scriptwriting to ensure that Colormatics clearly understood our brand, the story we wanted to tell, and how we wanted to present our care team.

We wanted to ensure that each of our care team members had a story to tell that was authentic, relatable, and not too detailed. Colormatics helped us throughout that process to outline those stories.

For the shooting day, Colormatics took full responsibility for the logistics, which included bringing their equipment, organizing the set, and ensuring everyone were where they needed to be. Their team also was in charge of the hair and makeup.

The shooting day was very intense and packed. We had camera A shoot some interviews and camera B do some group settings to get additional clips we used throughout the main video. That same day, Colormatics helped us produce some headshots, and everyone helped clean up the set after we were done filming.

During the postproduction process, we had some iterations with Colormatics. They shared some raw materials to help us get an idea of what came out of the shooting day. Then, they edited the footage, and we provided them with feedback throughout the process.

Although they also offered sound mixing, we ended up connecting them with the person in charge of our sound mixing because we use custom music and sounds, so we wanted the video to be in line with our brand. Ultimately, Colormatics produced three final videos — a main video and two short versions. The full-length video lasted three minutes, a shorter one lasted one minute, and the shortest one lasted 30 seconds.

What is the team composition?

We worked with six production crew members from Colormatics on the shooting day, including a director, a producer, and a photographer. In addition to them, we also worked with a video editor in charge of the editing process and a person who provided advice during the scriptwriting process. Moreover, Allison (Account Manager) was in charge of the project and visited the set.

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

I was referred to Colormatics by a different company that had produced a video with them. Originally, I engaged with them around a year prior to this project for a different one that we didn’t end up doing. When this project arose, I reached out to them with a clear brief and a timeline, and we took it from there.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $26,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2022, the shooting day was in October 2022, and Colormatics delivered the videos in mid-November 2022.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We were very happy with the result. Now, we use the videos produced by Colormatics on our website, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and sales materials — they’ve become an important part of how we tell our story.

We’ve also been very happy with the response we’ve had to those videos and how well they’ve performed. Viewers have provided very positive feedback, and people now understand much better what we do as a company and what our care team does specifically.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

Colormatics’ project management was great; they were very responsive to our questions, which was very helpful. They were also very accommodating regarding the price we set for the project; it was perfectly balanced between the quality we needed and our budget constraints. As for communication tools, we used email and Google Docs to collaborate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Colormatics’ most valuable asset was their professionalism on the shooting day. I don’t have a background in video production, so I knew that I would need to rely on them to ensure everything went according to plan and we didn’t miss anything. We spent a lot of money flying all the care team in, and they weren’t people who used to be on camera or participate in our marketing materials.

Therefore, it was important for us to have a professional production day and a crew sensitive to the storytelling we wanted to achieve. Colormatics made our care team feel comfortable and bring their best selves. Everyone on their crew was very impressive, and they knew exactly what their role was. Overall, it was a very professionally run shooting day, facilitating a positive experience and the project's success.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Although Allison was very responsive, we had very small challenges during pre- and postproduction. She was clearly liaising with her team, but she didn’t have answers to our questions herself.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have clarity on the final deliverable and who your main stakeholders are because creating a video always involves many internal stakeholders, which can get very confusing during the feedback stage.

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the owner and creative principal of ThinkinBig Communications, a full-service marketing communications agency.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

We wanted to produce a new corporate video for a nonprofit client to mark its 30th anniversary.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We hired Colormatics to produce a video for our nonprofit client -- from pre-production to post-production. They provided guidance on storyboarding, concept creation, and creative direction. They managed a robust, two-day video shoot and sound recording. In post-production, Colormatics handled editing, graphic design, sound mixing, sound design, and musicalization.

Ultimately, they delivered an eight-minute and 14 second full-length version and a two-minute and 14 second version of the video.

What is the team composition?

We kicked off the project with Chris (CEO & Co-Founder) and Aaron (Executive Producer) and then mainly worked with Allison (Account Manager) and the Colormatics' film crew.

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

Chris and I met first met years ago working with another client. Back then, he produced a video for us for the same nonprofit client as this current production.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $40,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began initial discussions with Colormatics in February 2021. They were officially engaged on the project in August 2021. Our working relationship is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The videos are published on the client's website, YouTube channel, social media platforms, and in use for online ads. We've begun to measure metrics and are confident the videos will accomplish what we set out for them to do. We have videos that can be used for years to come.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

Colormatics met deadlines and stayed within budget. They used a video editing platform to manage our collaboration and communicated via texts, emails, and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Colormatics' editing is their strength -- crisp, creative, and compelling. The end result is a WOW!

Are there any areas they could improve?

Having worked with Chris many years ago, it was great to reconnect with him -- and to see how much his company has grown. Early on, I would have liked to have seen the way some of the business details were handled be more buttoned down. Once we figured that out, things went fine.

Additionally, it would have been good to have had Colormatics spend more direct time on preparing the interviewees prior to the shoot. Some of those challenges were due to the pandemic, causing exceptional circumstances with our client, that prolonged things.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Communicate clearly as you allow Colormatics to listen the story out of you. Trust their editorial process. The result? An outstanding story with a shelf life for many years to come.

Our patients also really like the patient journey video — they enjoy hearing about our procedures from someone who has already experienced them.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

Colormatics had great communication and followed up with us during the decision-making process. They also reminded us when they needed content from us. Typically, we communicated with them via email. Colormatics was on time for meetings and onsite shooting. The onsite shooting took two days, and it took a few weeks for us to receive the deliverables.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality of the final product Colormatics delivered was on par with some of the best videos I’ve seen — it was well edited and produced.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything they could improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’d advise customers to communicate often and openly with Colormatics. It’s also important to provide honest feedback throughout the partnership.

Power Marketing is a media placement and performance marketing agency. We facilitate special projects and put together campaigns for live entertainment clients.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

Last fall, we put together an integrated campaign to support the reopening of our communities’ major venues, including a large theater and a sports complex. We hired Colormatics to manage all of the production, photography, and social content for that campaign.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Colormatics produced two spot videos that featured multiple buildings and all of the sanitization efforts. We provided an outline of what we wanted to include in the videos, and they came up with the creative concept to achieve those goals visually and musically.

Because we covered so much across different spaces and had to deal with the COVID-19 restrictions, it took us four full days to shoot the videos. They also put together some Boomerangs, Cinematographs, and small videos for our social ads and paid advertising efforts. They took photographs throughout the process that we used for social media content and collateral ads. Since then, we’ve continued to work on some projects here and there.

What is the team composition?

My main points of contact are Chris (CEO & Director) and Aaron (CCO & Producer). I’ve also worked with 3–4 people from their team, but they have a contracted crew to help them with the shooting.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement began in September 2020, and it’s ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The overall product turned out fantastic and made the client very happy. As restrictions start to loosen and venues can open, we’ll be ready to launch the campaign they helped us develop. We’re delighted about how everything turned out.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via phone, email, and Zoom meetings. They’re detailed and respectful, which is very important for us. They’re also very efficient, meeting all of the deadlines perfectly.

"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the director of media relations for a leading retail company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

We were launching a new exclusive collection and looking for an engaging way to launch it with our media partners to build buzz and excitement.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Their team did some on-site filming and editing of personalized packages. They also handled a live stream event where we invited attendees to make custom cocktails and ask questions about the collection.

They were responsible for all elements of the project. Their team proposed what the video would look like and recommended we do a personality profile. We gave them an overarching idea of our goals and messaging. Then, we let them run with it.

Our team leaned heavily on their creativity and expertise because they’d know how to create the most impactful event. They filmed some footage about four days before the livestream event. At the end of it, we worked in tandem to make sure the final package was something we all loved.

What is the team composition?

Our main contact was Sean (COO & Producer).

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

Our agency of record had done some work with them. They recommended them to us. After going on their website and seeing the caliber of other brands they’ve worked with and their portfolio, it seemed like a good fit for us. We had an initial conversation with Sean and felt he understood our brand and what we were looking to achieve. There was a good connection from the start.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested about $40,000.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We got positive feedback from internal business partners as well as media and influencers that attended the event. Everyone loved it and had a great time.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

At the onset of the project, they presented a timeline of deliverables and deadlines. We worked off of that timeline and touched base on a weekly basis. We met in-person for those but most communication was over email. Their team was dedicated to making sure we had all the elements we wanted.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were very creative, responsive, timely. Their team took a lot of pressure off of us because they handled it so well. All we had to do was approve things and make minor edits to the proposed packaging.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, our working relationship was great. Everything went smoothly, and they were quite responsive. Overall, it was a good experience.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re always up for a challenge. Give them an overall vision of what you’re trying to do. Then, let them come back with recommendations. They came up with some interesting elements that we didn’t think about internally.

**Feedback Summary**: The event marked a record high in its number of attendees and audience members provided excellent feedback. Colormatics produced a high-quality video that met the partner's expectations, all while implementing an impressive work ethic from pre- to post-production stages.
"“They respond to every small request and are always perfectly happy to accommodate.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the senior medical science liaison of a global allergy immunotherapy company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

We wanted to come up with a novel way to engage physicians during the pandemic. We had been having access issues; physicians weren’t necessarily seeing a lot of my colleagues in their offices. Our team tried to find a way to bring them in and bring them insights about our company and what we do.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They’re providing video production services for us. In the first stage, Colormatics worked with our source material facility. They did an in-depth tour of the facility and gave everyone a firsthand look into the operations of that facility. Their team went to our farm and filmed the trees, leaves, and grasses we collect and harvest for allergen extraction formulation. They also went into our manufacturing facility to get insights into how we culture house dust mites.

We did a merge of pre-produced footage and a live event. The Colormatics team integrated a prerecorded tour with a live Q&A session so our physicians could interact with the individuals at our source material facility. They also handled post-production, taking all the material and compiling it into a couple of different offerings. Our medical and sales teams utilize the video through various engagements.

What is the team composition?

I work primarily with Sean (Co-Founder & COO) and haven’t interacted much with the other team members.

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

I found them through Google. I was seeking something that was different. Colormatics was amongst the few vendors that stood out for having experience with live events. I reached out to four organizations and Colormatics responded the quickest. I had a telephone call with Sean and it was easy to have a conversation with him. He knew his stuff and immediately understood our vision.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested about $40,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement started in September 2020.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We had the highest attendance ever for any of our programs. What’s more, we received phenomenal feedback from physicians, including some who were interested in getting contact information for Colormatics so they could utilize them for some of their projects.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been excellent with project management. We communicate almost daily through emails and calls. Their team has kept us abreast of everything that’s happening. There have never been any questions about what the status was for the project.

They respond to every small request and are always perfectly happy to accommodate. Their team did a couple of quick pivots for us and made everything look beautiful.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their flexibility was the best. There were a few last-minute additions and tweaks and they handled those with no frustration and no issues. Their team took our feedback and comments and immediately made changes and even facilitated some last-minute filming to ensure it was exactly how we wanted it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, it’s been great.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Give them some opportunities for creative input. They have great ideas and ways to tweak things ever so slightly so it becomes more interactive and brings another element to your event. Giving them that creative license took our event up a notch in comparison to what it had been if we had just dictated.

**The Review** — Oct 20, 2020

**Feedback Summary**: The company have begun using both short-form and long-form videos for their marketing campaigns and are beginning to get positive feedback on the latter. The company appreciated the personal touch that the Colormatics team brought and never once made them feel they were an unimportant side-project.
""We never felt like we were unimportant or like our project was backburnered for some bigger fish."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

Our law firm is a personal injury law firm, headquartered in central Washington state with offices throughout eastern Washington. I am the owner of the law firm.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire Colormatics?

We were interested in developing a long form "about us" style video and short ad style films.

What were your goals for this project?

With the onset of covid, we began investigating methods to make our advertising dollars more accountable and to maximize our exposure. Our goal was to develop high end tools that could be replicated across marketing platforms.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select Colormatics?

We were referred to colormatics by our ad people at krem. We compared pricing and products of colormatics against a number of industry-specific marketing providers. Colormatics had the strongest portfolio and, surprisingly, offered exceptional pricing.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.

Colormatics laid out a full shoot schedule which was pre-approved. They arrived on scene early one morning and traveled across central Washington to four separate locations to make an exceptionally tight yet comprehensive video about our firm. We began around 8 am and wrapped about 430 pm.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

Colormatics maintained excellent lines of communication including via email, text, cell and the video editing platform that they utilized. I always felt "in the loop" with them.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We've only recently implemented the short form ads into our television marketing but the results thus far are promising. People have been uniformly impressed with the long form video that is on out website and other marketing platforms. We are only two months into using it, but have gotten immense positive feedback from the project.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Colormatics maintained excellent lines of communication including via email, text, cell and the video editing platform that they utilized. I always felt "in the loop" with them.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The personal touch. These guys have handled much bigger companies and organizations than ours. It would've been easy to say, "this is good enough for what you've got going." We never felt like we were unimportant or like our project was backburnered for some bigger fish.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Honestly no. We are very enthused with what we have already and will probably run it back in the future. We have already referred many friends their way.

**Feedback Summary**: The ads have just launched and haven’t generated enough data to measure performance, but the client was satisfied with the quality and speed of the deliverables. Colormatics ensured the partnership — done remotely — had clear and constant communication from start to finish.
""They far exceeded my expectations in what they delivered and how smoothly the project went."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the director of brand marketing for a freelancer platform.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

We wanted to produce a series of direct response television ads.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

This was our first time running TV as a marketing channel, so it was all new to us. We worked with a TV media buying agency to learn the general best practices for creating direct response ads to drive our desired impacts. After that, we wrote a series of scripts that we then worked with Colormatics to produce.

Colormatics was involved from the post-script phase onwards. They handled the production and post-production and then delivered each spot to distribution networks.

In all, we had six unique scripts with three versions of each, adding up to 18 total spots of 15–3-seconds for the shoot. About 12 of the ads were made for TV and digital while the rest were exclusively for digital. The goal was to shoot our commercials in a similar style but with slight differences to find what performed best.

What is the team composition?

We had three main points of contact.

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

They’ve been our production partner for a variety of projects, from capturing footage at live events to working on campaigns to helping us with case studies.

We reached out to two potential production partners but decided that the Colormatics team was best for what we needed. From the briefing to making the decision to getting started on things, it was a tight timeline.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $45,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The partnership started in the first week of May 2020, and we just finished in June of the same year.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our metrics are based on quantitative analysis. We wanted to figure out what creative is most effective in driving traffic to our website. We’re testing these TV spots against other creative we have. We haven’t gathered enough insights yet, but from a satisfaction standpoint, we’re super happy with the products we got. It was exactly what we were hoping to achieve.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything was seamless. From the brief to the handoff of the first deliveries, it took fewer than five weeks. Colormatics was super efficient in managing the timeline and process while working remotely. We kept in touch daily or every other day over email, video call over Microsoft Teams, phone calls, and texts. We couldn’t be on-site while they shot each spot, so they set up a livestream so we could follow exactly what was happening the day of.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I didn’t need to tell Colormatics exactly what we needed; they already had a basic understanding of our product and our objectives. That made it significantly easier to manage my side.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I had a call with them the other week to debrief the project, and I told them that it was a flawless experience on my end. There’s nothing they could’ve done better. They far exceeded my expectations in what they delivered and how smoothly the project went.

Any advice for potential customers?

Be super clear and direct about what you want to do and how much you can spend. If you both have a clear understanding of your budget, objectives, and timelines, that’ll make the process much easier. Colormatics is more than capable of managing the whole process with that information.

What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

After I approve scripts and instructors for our content that’s made from scratch, their team produces the video lessons.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We film our original content with them from start to finish. Our courses are two hours long, so they film the instructors in a studio as they reach the class. Each course takes an entire day of filming at a studio. From there, they’re responsible for editing the content and launching it on the platform. The editing process requires them to upload their footage to a collaborative platform that makes it accessible to all of us. At that point, we’re able to give feedback on each video before they do their final edits.

I’ve been able to consult with their team on course topic ideas, and they’re willing to provide us with feedback. Of the 60 courses in our catalog, half of them were created by their team.

What is the team composition?

I’ve been working with Sean (Partner) since day one. He also has an amazing crew that works both on set and in the editing room.

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

I heard great things about them from the larger digital company that I work for. The business has been very pleased with their work for other departments, so it was an easy choice based on the success our company has seen in the past.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $100,000 on their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in September 2019, and our teams still collaborate.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The work process has been amazing. We’ve always been able to complete the production process in a single day on set. That’s always been the goal for us. Working remotely has never posed a challenge for us because I can trust in their ability to produce quality work in the production and editing stages.

Our users can tell that their content is high-quality. We’ve received great responses from our learners about our videos. Therefore, we’re able to price the courses accordingly, so that’s benefitted us as well.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

They provide all their work on schedule. It’s been very convenient to talk with them quickly over WhatsApp, and they respond immediately. That allows us to easily keep track of the timeline and stay on schedule.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Sean has mastered production. He’s professional, fun to work with, and attentive to our schedule. No one is perfect, but they truly do an amazing job of managing projects and taking our feedback.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear with them, jumping on calls to align with information to make sure that everyone is on the same page. They do a great job.

**The Review** — Apr 13, 2020

**Feedback Summary**: The delivered videos have been recognized by regional ad organizations, and end-clients are impressed by their simple explanation of technical content. Colormatics brings energy to every project, always looking for new approaches. Customers can expect an innovative and creative partner.
""They take personal pride in and ownership of their work."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the owner and founder of Big Sky PR. We’re a PR agency, and our niche is public involvement and public awareness work. Primarily we do outreach for government agencies around infrastructure and transportation projects.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

We worked with them on several different projects, and most of the challenges were around educating audiences about specific traffic mechanisms.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

In Montana, roundabouts are very unpopular, and the public really battles them. We worked with Colormatics to create a campaign about how to drive through one because that’s feedback we regularly receive from the feedback. They developed a series of educational videos that were very creative. They found a group that makes elaborate miniature towns and created a video showing a small car going through a roundabout the right way and the wrong way. They did a lot of the scripting with us as well. They also did a four-part series for us on accessibility, as well as 6–7 other series of videos for us.

After talking it through and brainstorming, Aaron gives us the first scripting and storyboarding. We get everything approved with our client, and then they’ll do casting if that’s necessary for a video. They also handle the site selection in collaboration with us, as well as equipment rentals. After the shoot, they handle the post-production.

What is the team composition?

We work with Aaron and Chris primarily.

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

Aaron originally connected with us looking for PR agencies that needed production support. We choose not to have those services in-house. We found we could leverage the experts in their respective areas without taking on all that overhead, and we’re a small agency. I was talking back and forth with Aaron and then these projects came up. He was very organized and affable in the initial conversations, as well as interesting and fun to work with. He was easy to relate to

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent a little over $100,000 with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since February 2018.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The roundabout series ended up being not only really popular with our audiences, but it was also a regional winner of a major advertising competition.

Overall, their videos perform very well. We put them out organically, and they’re evergreen. We can use them multiple years in a row across multiple projects. Their materials are very high-quality and make sense for the clients to invest in. They’re used in social media, stakeholder communication and education, presentations. They’re sitting on our website and YouTube as well.

One of the general client feedback pieces is that they do a great job boiling down technical content into an accessible, entertaining, interesting way that the average person can appreciate and enjoy. That’s not an incredibly easy thing to do either – making transportation creative.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

Aaron and Chris are people I would be friends with if I wasn’t working with them. They don’t’ ‘bring a lot of ego to their work, which I really appreciate. For the most part, they’re responsive and pretty well organized. I’ve worked with some fairly large creative departments before, and project management is usually one of my biggest complaints. Colormatics has done a really nice job.

We communicate on a weekly basis what we need for timelines, but I think that’s something both of us could be doing better — having more formalized timelines. We haven’t missed a deadline yet though.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I love their positive energy. Creatives, in general, come with ideas, but I feel like they care a lot about their work and bringing a different look and feel to every presentation and project. We primarily do transportation, so for them to come in and say “how can we do a different take on this.” They take personal pride in and ownership of their work.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There have been a few times where we had to prod to get some things across, but those are hard to assess because they were during time periods when our workload was so extreme that it’s hard for me to know if it may have been us falling behind instead of them. There could be opportunities for more formal scheduling. For the most part, they give us concrete deadlines and follow through on them though, otherwise, I wouldn’t be using them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Come with an open mind and be willing to let them present different ideas you may not have thought of yourself. A lot of their ideas really pay off.

"“They always had really high integrity.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I was a senior producer at a retailer of hunting and fishing equipment.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

We needed a partner to help web and marketing content for products.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We had a larger production in which we collected high-quality B-roll footage to use throughout the year for different promotions. One of the products was promoting some new archery equipment, and we used a Hunger Games theme. They would shoot product launch videos for us, too. Sometimes they would do all of the post-production and sometimes they'd do animated pieces. Sometimes they would just shoot.

What is the team composition?

I had one main point of contact and brought the team that he needed for the different sizes of the projects.

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

I knew of their owner when he was still independent and used him as a DP. I reached out to him later and learned he had started Colormatics.

How much have you invested with them?

We've invested $100,000 – $150,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in September 2014 and wrapped up in September 2016.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We would A/B test a lot of the content they delivered to us against no video or something we shot in-house, and their work was always a higher return on investment.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

They were always great. I come from a production background and It's always nice to have other professionals who speak the language. They definitely scaled to our needs. We communicated via text and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They always had really high integrity. There were never any missed deliverables. We always got what was promised.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they were always good to work with.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They know what they're doing, they're the experts. Trust in them and good things will come.

**The Review** — Apr 9, 2020

**Feedback Summary**: Over the course of several projects, Colormatics have consistently exceeded all expectations and impressed project stakeholders with their professionalism, flexibility, and open communication. Their team works independently or collaboratively depending on the need and executes instructions to a T.
"“I really looking forward to collaborating on some fun stuff with them in the future.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I work for a sport and entertainment lifestyle marketing company. We do a lot of live experiential content, sponsorship strategy, hospitality, and hosting. I work on our digital team, so I run our in-house video production capabilities.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

About 75% of the work we do involves creating content for our clients’ social media feeds through either real-time content or directing talent-driven shoots, and the other 25% covers recap videos and training content. We partner with Colormatics to help us out when we have bandwidth issues on multiple projects or to tap into their expertise in certain areas.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Last year, we worked with them on a product shoot for a Japanese makeup brand. Chris, who runs Colormatics, has an extensive history with product shoots and lighting so that was a really great opportunity for us to partner with them and get their help capturing that content.

In addition to that, we worked with them on a couple of major brand advertisements when we had bandwidth issues making it difficult to tackle all of the projects we had at once. They are involved in both on the ground efforts from shooting to postproduction, as well as strategy and planning from time to time.

What is the team composition?

We usually interact directly with Chris and Aaron, and they manage their teams from there.

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

My boss met Chris through LinkedIn, and we ended up grabbing drinks with them when we were in San Francisco last March. They seemed like a really good fit, so things just kind of expanded from there.

How much have you invested with them?

The total cost has been about $50,000 over the course of three projects.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our first project with them was in March 2019 and we have continued to partner with them on a variety of projects since then.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I don’t have specific metrics right now, but from a subjective perspective, they’ve been great to work with. On the makeup shoot alone, we tapped into Chris for his expertise and paid for him and a shooter to be on site. He brought a PA on free of charge and also shot behind the scenes photos for us, while also helping to manage all the lighting. That commitment to going above and beyond demonstrates their willingness to partner with us in a way that most vendors do not.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything they’ve done for us has been organized and detailed throughout all of their work We haven’t had any issues. They are super professional, always filling needs, and we really appreciate their flexibility when it comes to budget and making things work.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We have loved every minute of work they’ve done for us in the short time we’ve been able to work with them so far. I really looking forward to collaborating on some fun stuff with them in the future.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not in my experience, no. They don’t need a lot of oversight, they just run off of your debrief and execute the work to a T.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’m a big believer in open communication, and Chris is a great communicator, so just be upfront with your brief, what the budget is, and what you’re hoping to get out of it. They will respect that and really deliver on everything you ask them for.

"“They really brought the interviews to life in a way that we could've never imagined doing.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the digital marketing manager at the Spokane Symphony.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

We didn't have any good quality videos, and we know it's an excellent way to reach our customers since what we do is so visual.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They provided a lot of interviews with our musician and our new director. They did an awesome video encompassing our last season called "Sound of Spokane". The video took our musicians into different parts of Spokane. They help a lot with the strategy and I give them a bunch of different links for things we like.

As far as interviews went, we worked on some questions that we wanted to ask the musicians together. They really brought the interviews to life in a way that we could've never imagined doing. Production for "Sound of Spokane" was literally two days, and they turned that around in two weeks, which was amazing. We ended up broadcasting that over social media, tv, and our website.

What is the team composition?

We had two main points of contact and worked with 3-4 other people from their team.

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

We put out a bid to five different companies and really liked Colormatics and what they brought to the table. They were the only company that came up with a clear plan of which video would drive the most value.

How much have you invested with them?

We've invested $100,000

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in May 2019, and our engagement is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We got a lot of calls and emails from people about the commercial they'd seen. We got a lot of good feedback from in and out of Spokane. We even engaged with a lot of our younger folks, which is a tough demographic for us to reach.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

It's really fun to work with them. They're really professional, efficient, and they always get back to me right away. It's pretty uncommon to have someone get back to you in one to five minutes. They've been great with communication and being creative. They made it really fun to put it all together.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They'll meet to capture what your business is all about and make sure they highlight what you want. It's nice for me to rely on them to do a good job because it makes my job that much easier.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they've always surpassed our expectations.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is just to go for it. Make that initial meeting with them, they're really smart guys, they're really on top of it and they'll really get you the results you're looking for.

""They were adaptable and flexible with all the shifts in the project."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the creative director of The Integer Group.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

We were looking for video production services for an advertising project we were working on with a client.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They produced video spots to run on e-commerce sites and social media. They also did some still photography.

We presented the concept to them and they brought it to life. We worked collaboratively on-site; they produced and directed, as well as filmed, while my role was to ensure our vision came through.

There were two products. The first was project consisted of a 15-20 second video, still photography, and GIFs for social media. For the other, they did one or two standard videos and a social media video.

What is the team composition?

My main points of contact were Chris (Director) and Sean (Producer). They each worked with other team members.

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

I had worked with them before. When this project came up, I invited them to bid on it, and they won.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested between $50,000 - $100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from August – September 2019.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The end products looked good. The clients were happy with them. The team from Colormatics did great working with the client’s changes, and explaining their choices and strategy to the client.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

They were adaptable and flexible with all the shifts in the project. They joined in all the calls, stayed engaged and committed, building goodwill with the clients.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They stayed aligned with us. That was essential in meeting deadlines and producing a successful product. Chris has a calm presence on set, rolling with everything thrown at him and meeting demands while not compromising his direction or vision. There could’ve been much more tension with the client if not for his demeanor and capabilities.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We felt there was a big miss on the wardrobe and accessories pieces for the actresses. They weren’t necessarily current. This did take up some time to address and caused some frustration for the client. It wasn’t a huge deal in the end, but it could’ve been if we hadn’t sourced the right things on the fly.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The team is attentive and will ride it out to the end. I would also have to suggest keeping an eye on wardrobe and set accessories to make sure they’re on-trend and in-line with the vision. Colormatics comes in at a good, competitive price-point.

Additionally, they prepped the files and did all the pre-editing work.

What is the team composition?

We had 3 people from their side.

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

I was familiar with their work from separate projects. I knew they were dependable and they were my go-to vendor in that area.

""Colormatics is a joy to collaborate with."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the principal at Envisaging Productions, Inc.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

We worked with Colormatics on a feature film.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Colormatics was responsible for the sound mixing and color correction during post-production for the film. The team provided suggestions about music, sound effects, and other ways to enhance particular scenes. The primary goal of the color correcting was to make the film look cohesive and beautiful before delivering it to networks.

What is the team composition?

We worked with two individuals, Aaron (Producer & Partner), who mixed the sound, and Chris (Director & Partner), who was responsible for the color correction of the entire movie.

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

I’d worked with Aaron on a prior show, and he reached out to me when we were producing this film. We were confident about Colormatics’ abilities and decided to partner with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between $50,000-–$75,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We brought them on from April-June 2018.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The team did a wonderful job. They have access to fantastic facilities and do terrific work while remaining malleable and collaborative. We had some technical challenges before a screening in Los Angeles, and Colormatics worked with us remotely to troubleshoot and get us through it.

They always go the extra mile to help the creative process and to problem solve.

Colormatics is a joy to collaborate with.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

Colormatics’ project management style is excellent; they’re very buttoned up. The team was always ready for our sessions and never kept me waiting.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re filmmakers themselves, so they bring an extra level of expertise and understanding. Chris is a director of photography and has a beautiful eye. Together, they have a great creative sense which really adds to the end project.

Also, the team can understand the perspective of a director, and can perfectly tread the line between offering collaborative solutions and maintaining the director’s vision.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing that I can think of.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Get them involved early. Let them know what your vision is, and allow Colormatics to start generating ideas. Also, you could really benefit from hiring Chris as your DP. We didn’t for this project, but I definitely would in the future.

I’m a senior marketing communications specialist at a regional credit union, and I lead creative advertising campaigns. We have 200,000 members in Washington and Idaho.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

We had been doing a campaign since 2014, and they felt it had gotten a little stale. They didn’t know how to evolve it without losing the heart of it.

I came up with a campaign. I thought Colormatics would be the best people to evolve it and make it look the way it needed to look with motion graphics combined with live action. It needed to look high-end, but also local.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Our team came up with the idea to highlight people who are doing good online in their little corner of the Internet. When we brought that concept to Colormatics, they started discussing different ways we could visualize it. They translated our idea into a visual language.

The video is a combination of live-action and motion graphics. We filmed an interview, but we also wanted to bring the social media accounts of these members to life. We used social media accounts as a flash-back mechanism. Then, we brought those accounts to life so it would feel as though the action was happening in real-time.

Now, we’re working on turning the voiceovers from the interviews into animated illustrations. We feel like those might perform stronger organically on social media. We wanted to test the two videos to see which performs better, but due to COVID-19 we’re going to have to wait a while before we launch them.

What is the team composition?

There was a core team of three people, including a producer, the VP director, and the editor. With subcontractors included, there were eight people. The rest of the people outside of the core team were on the film crew or worked with motion graphics.

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

I had talked with them previously when I was in the ad agency world. They’d come by and talked about their skillset and showed us their video reel. There was a good rapport there.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested $10,000 to $49,999 with the team so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November of 2019, and the partnership is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The leadership team and our team are both very happy. I presented the first TV ad that we created at our staff meeting, and everyone was very impressed and excited about it.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very laid back but still get the job done, which is a nice balance. We use Frame.io for feedback on the post-prodcution side. Overall, it’s a combination of Frame.io, text, and email.
Are there any areas they could improve?

As a team, we’ve talked about wanting to draw the interviewees out of their shell a bit more. I think their interview tactics could be improved a little bit.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure both the client and the vendor are comfortable giving direct feedback to each other.

""“They were able to provide big production value for the budget that we had."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I was working as an executive creative director at an advertising agency.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

We needed help with video production.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped us produce commercials, sizzle videos, and event coverage. For the most part, we came up with the concepts and ideas, and we'd bring them along and ask them to produce it for us. Typically, they would ask their value from a director’s perspective. They would help us execute in a way that would add a lot of knowledge and expertise.

What is the team composition?

We typically worked with a director, a DP, a producer, and a sound engineer.

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

I've known them for a while and wanted to give them a shot for one project. After the first time, we hired them again and again because they always delivered what we needed.

How much have you invested with them?

We've invested $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from January 2017 to December 2017.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They were a great vendor to come in, since we were working with a tight and practical budget. They were able to provide big production value for the budget that we had. Overall, agencies and clients loved working with them. In a few cases, the clients even continued the relationship after the project had ended. They're very detail-oriented for such a small firm.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

From the production side, they'd stick to a schedule. We would assign one point of contact them directly and relay feedback.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I love working with them. They're so easy to work with.

Are there any areas they could improve?

When they want a job, it's a bit above their capabilities. They should work on delivering a bit of a stronger treatment if they want to secure it.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Communicating exactly what you want is key. Don't leave anything up to guessing.

**The Review** — Mar 25, 2020

**Feedback Summary**: With a personal touch, Colormatics has offered a professional, trustworthy partnership. Internal stakeholders laud not just the quality of the team’s deliverables, but of their character as well. Customers can expect a wide range of talent and a smooth engagement.
""Universally, everything Colormatics has done has met our criteria for success."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the director of product marketing for GEP, a global consulting company. We provide services and software to the procurement and supply chain industry. We deal largely with Fortune 500 and other bigger organizations.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

We had a need for a development partner who could provide several different video production and visual arts services.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve engaged Colormatics on many different projects. We’ve used them to create promotional videos and testimonials for our software and services that are later published on our website. The team has also acted as a video crew recording our live events at various conferences and keynote presentations, as well as supplying reportage for those events. Further, Colormatics have done animations for us as well.

Sometimes we have clear ideas and assign specific directions. At other times, their team collaborates with us to find creative, interesting ways to express what we’d like to convey.

Recently, we went through a rebranding exercise, changing the name of one of our products. That had an effect on our creative output, and Colormatics was responsible for very rapidly editing and recutting videos to reflect the new name.

In a broader sense, we’ve used Colormatics in an advisory capacity to build our own in-house capabilities.

What is the team composition?

I typically interface with the owners on a regular basis. For shoots, there’s usually a crew of four.

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

In our first engagement with Colormatics, we were actually the subject of another company’s testimonial videos. We got along well with the crew, and they were easy to work with. When we looked at the final output, we were extremely impressed with the quality, and decided to reach out for the next video project we had.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with Colormatics in June 2016, and the engagement is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We don’t have specific metrics we track them on, as we don’t use their services in a traditional advertising sense. However, internally, our business development team is always quite enthusiastic to use them as part of their process. Colormatics’ work receives a high amount of views on our website, and we’re more than satisfied with their performance in that regard. Universally, everything Colormatics has done has met our criteria for success.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

Our communication has become streamlined and efficient as our partnership has developed. We keep in contact by text message, phone, and email, though we try to meet in person on a fairly regular basis. Sean (Partner) never hesitates to reach out to have a cup of coffee when he’s in the area to chat generally about ideas. He’ll also occasionally call me to share something the team’s been working on that might be of interest to us in the future.

We have a more informal relationship than I do with other vendors, because I completely trust them to deliver for us. Overall, we’re impressed not just with the quality of the work they provide, but with how they behave as businesspeople.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Over the years we’ve worked with them, they’ve developed fluency in our business. Now, they’re capable of offering not just creative advice, but suggestions on how to best get our message across with industry-specific language. For instance, the editing process after our rebrand was an extremely painless, effortless experience, because Colormatics really understood where we were coming from. It’s been incredibly helpful to have a partner who understands the complexities of our company.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There are some capabilities that larger production companies have that Colormatics doesn’t, like CGI services. It’s not a shortcoming on their part, because a small production company shouldn't be expected to have all the tools of a major media studio, but I could probably give them more business if they had those capabilities.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You can get the best relationship with Colormatics by engaging with them as people, rather than just service providers. There have been times when they’ve gone above and beyond what’s expected of them.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire Colormatics?

M Booth has partnered with Colormatics for several years with challenges ranging from event coverage through full , pre to post creative and live action video production.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal with Colormatics is always to the highest production value we can afford. They are beyond accommodating and the end product always surpass expectations.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor?

Trust. We flat out just trust Colormatics. They're always detailed in their estimates and ask all the right questions to ensure both partners are set up for success. And their past work speaks for itself.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.

One particular project needed location, casting, storyboards and production/crew management in less than a week, including client approvals on all aspects. Colormatics made it look easy (though it definitely was not) and the end production went off without any bumps. Our clients were pleased beyond their expectations. A win for everyone.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

Colormatics is easy to work with for feedback. We typically work directly with one person from their team. While we rely heavily on client feedback, we value Colormatics' input in shaping cuts before we present to clients for official review.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

On one particular project, the overall consensus was that everything may fall apart because we did not have enough time to ensure all approvals. However, because Colormatics is so reliable, the final product not only crushed any doubt, but exceeded expectaions.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Workflow was very fluid. Colormatics utilizes many digital tools that make approvals, review and feedback organized and thorough.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The most impressive aspect of Colormatics is their ability to adapt to any project guardrails.

Are there any areas for improvement?

While there is always room for improvement, Colormatics takes feedback and corrective measures in stride during projects to ensure the best result. It's a result of their open minds and expertise.

Former Director of Marketing, The Coeur d'Alene Resort

- Client size: 51-200 Employees
- Review Type: Phone Interview

**The Review** — Mar 19, 2020

**Feedback Summary**: The remarkable work that Colormatics produced led to a significant increase in occupancy at the resort, and the video they made is of superior quality and standard. In addition to being responsive and communicative, they were committed to fulfilling the needs of the internal team.
""Their work was outstanding, and they were definitely a jewel in the Northwest as far as video production."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the former director of marketing at the Coeur d’Alene Resort.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

When I started at the organization, we had very minimal content, a small photo library, and no videos. So, one of my main tasks was to increase the content to promote the resort. I wanted something that was fresh, cutting-edge, and unique to the resort, and I wanted to work with a partner who was flexible and excited about the project.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

I showed them a couple of video ideas, and Colormatics came up with a handful of really strong concepts. From there, we narrowed it down, and they created the storyboards. The team also went to our local talent agency and helped me find the right talent for the video. They then produced an all-encompassing video for the spring season at the resort that would be used as a TV commercial and on social media and our website.

They implemented my vision, using the video to show how accessible the resort was and how many activities were available to the customers. The team made the video such that the viewer could be in the shoes of the models – almost like a first-person experience.

What is the team composition?

I worked primarily with Chris (Director) and Aaron (Producer). They also brought in their shooting team.

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

I wanted to find partners that I connected with and trusted, so I met with 4–5 different video production houses. I was recommended by a former coworker to meet with Colormatics and, as soon as I met them, I felt their excitement and their energy. I loved that they were excited and flexible and wanted to work with what I was looking to create, which is why I decided to work with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between $35,000–$40,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

I worked with them from December 2017–July 2019.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I was incredibly pleased with the way they brought my vision to life. Our president and general manager at the resort loved the work that Colormatics did for us. Their work was by far the best I’ve seen in my career. The resort had the highest level of occupancy that it had ever had during the years when the spot ran.

Pushing the social media and having the video on our website and on TV definitely resonated with our region and brought a lot of new guests in. We saw the influx of a demographic that was younger than we usually targeted, and that was extremely helpful.

Two of the models they found became signature models for the resort, and we used them continuously afterward. What started as just one spot turned into a 2–3-year campaign because Chris and Aaron helped us find some great talent.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

We used both email and text, and whenever I had a hard time downloading a format, they would get back to me immediately and send it to me in a different way.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Chris and Aaron had a great partnership. As producer and director, they had a good balance of experience and were so flexible. Their work was outstanding, and they were definitely a jewel in the Northwest as far as video production. They were responsive, positive, and easy to work with. Colormatics was supportive and authentic, compromising to meet our needs and make sure we had a long-lasting relationship.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I have no suggestions. If there were any issues, they would correct them immediately.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be open to their direction and have fun. I’ve already recommended them to other people.

**Feedback Summary**: Comporting themselves professionally in crowded studio settings, Colormatics captures high-quality video. Internal stakeholders praise them for their fast editing and impressive feedback processes. Customers can expect a comprehensive partner who’s dedicated to overall company growth.
""They go above and beyond in serving us as a client."&;
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

Man Made Music is a global music and sound studio. We do sonic branding for entertainment brands and large television networks and corporations. I’m the senior music producer and creative director. I handle day-to-day budgeting, digital collateral, creative management, and video production.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

We do these big recording sessions and are well-equipped, but we’re not a video house. Utilizing a long-standing relationship with one of the co-founders of Colormatics, Chris, we hooked up with them. We wanted to leverage capturing some of those moments that are so important to our clients.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They’re coming with a crew of people and doing live video shoots of our music recording sessions. They do all the post-production as well. Documentary style is a good way to think about it.

We’ve taken it on to do audio mixes when we have work that’s still in progress, but they really handle everything, soup-to-nuts, on the video side, including audio post-production. We’re providing maybe, splits of our music so they can utilize that and build a story around how the music is actually recorded, and not just the final product.

What is the team composition?

We’ve done anywhere from 4–5 people-shoots up to 10-12. It’s based on the client's budget, a lot of time. They bring in the right size crew for whatever we need to do.

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

The first project we worked with them on was purely editorial – a new portfolio reel for the company. It’s evolved into this full-service video production house we really enjoying partner with now. It was a direct relationship in how we found them.

How much have you invested with them?

Our budget spend is probably close to $200,000 in all.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since November 2011.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The quality of the work is excellent, and our company prides itself on the quality of our work, so it was important for any partner to have that same sense. They’re amazing in their regard. I look at the work they’re doing for their other clients as well and it’s equal to what they do for us.

We’ve developed a really great system in how we do these live recording sessions. It’s become very easy to work with them. they know how these things go, the right crew to build around them. Their proposals are great, and they’re willing to work directly with clients on our behalf. We have a lot of trust in them. It’s important in our recording sessions – with 10 extra people in the room, they’re very respectful and quiet. There’s a feel thing that’s really specific to our needs that doesn’t go unnoticed by them.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re super-efficient with the edit schedule, and I know how long those things can take. Again, in building the right team, they have a sense of who needs to be on certain projects. And not only for the initial shoot, but also in the editorial process afterward. They make their reviews incredibly efficient and address feedback beautifully. I’ve had nothing but good experiences working with them on the post-production side.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Over the years, Sean and Chris (Founding Partners, Colormatics) have really made an effort to get to know us. In fact, they’re currently thinking of ways to leverage our in-house production as well. So that’s really special. They’re not only willing to show up for these gigs but are also offering additional on the house help for us to ensure our capabilities are good. They go above and beyond in serving us as a client.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not from my perspective. One of the reasons we’re able to work with them is that they expand on a capability of ours that we don’t have in-house. They provide a robust offering for us. We’re not experts in their field, but from a client service and quality standpoint, I can’t ask for anything more.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

As flexible as they are with pricing, you have to go in knowing they’re delivering a super high-quality product. It’s important to know that as scalable as their business is, they really specialize in high-end video production. Expect the best work from them, and expect that the cost is worth it.

**Feedback Summary**: Due to Colormatics' skilled services, new users have converted because of their video production work. The team is responsive, personable, and creative. Customers can expect a team of problem-solvers that provide an efficient workflow.
""Their production value is extremely high."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the director of local marketing at Fiverr.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

I’ve worked with them on many different projects to solve various issues with the company. For one particular project, we had to create growth videos to acquire new customers through YouTube. We needed a substantial variety of videos on a tight budget.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

I went to their team with a brief. Since we’ve worked together before, they already had a strong understanding of the brand and knew what to convey. The trick was that we needed a lot of different types of videos within a tight budget, so their team had to think creatively on how to work with that.

After going through an array of options and possibilities, we ended up with about 100 different video ideas. Despite this, the process was simple. After looking over the brief, we collaborated with their creative team to get the videos right. We had a lot of creative back-and-forths, going over the set design and other elements, through calls and emails.

We worked in the same studio, but their team created different sets within one space.

After filming, the videos went through the editing process. All of the videos were YouTube and Facebook acquisition videos, which have different criteria for converting new users. Those videos also have a specific length for each set. We also created general and category-specific videos with Colormatics.

What is the team composition?

Sean (Partner) and Chris (Director) are my main points of contact. Each set of videos has a different team.

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

I found Colormatics years ago. I was working with someone who recommended them to me as an up-and-coming, talented duo. Now, they’re a bigger company with full-time employees and established clients. We hit it off and started our long-term engagement with them with production work.

Over the years, they’ve created corporate, client-facing, internal, brand, product, and conversion videos. We trust them to know the brand and adapt to our needs.

What is the status of this engagement?

This engagement ran from August-September 2018.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The team at Colormatics delivered over 100 cuts of videos for us. The videos met our expectations. They allowed us to try different tests for customer acquisition. It resulted in a strong conversion of new users. Their team thinks creatively, making them excellent problem-solvers.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

The fact that we’ve been working with them so many years is a testament to who they are and how they work. They can work on projects with a fast turnaround, or they can do more significant projects with more in-depth planning. The team at Colormatics is responsive.

Our conversations are always casual. During the editing stages, we use a tool called Frame.io, which allows me to give notes and feedback. Based on my needs, they re-edit. Other than that, we communicate using phone calls, emails, and texts.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their production value is extremely high. It’s almost like they’re five times the size. Along with having the right technical expertise, their team is friendly and down to earth. I love their perspective, and that they make projects a lot of fun. Creative projects can get heated when there is a difference in creativity. Colormatics would push us as a brand to make decisions.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I won’t use them for certain projects because I know what they can deliver. I have them work on things that they do their best at. With the projects I give them, they do a great job.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Know what you want. Come in with a clear idea of output, and communicate that effectively with them. If you don’t know what you want, you’re not going to be happy with what they deliver.

Set expectations when working with them. We’ve had times where we worked with them where we didn’t know what we wanted, and I ended up not being happy with the results. That has nothing to do with Colormatics, but because we weren’t aligned internally. Knowing what you want makes the process more efficient.

""They know what information they need to be successful, and this has helped us be more efficient with our time."

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I work on the creative team at Providence. We are a national hospital and healthcare network primarily focused on the east coast. I’m the production manager that produces all of the paid media collateral, such as broadcast TV, sports radio, social media, and display ads.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

For our first big project, we wanted to go to southern California and document a bunch of caregivers and patients in our network that relate to our hashtag brand called #FinishCancer.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They’ve provided production services for us. This has involved live-action, video, and photography, as well as an editorial style “behind the scenes” we wanted to capture for organic social.

We provided the strategy and they provided all the creative specialists as well as production and post-production services. We filmed for five days straight, and then post-production lasted three months.

At the end of our engagement, there will be 22 videos total, along with photography we’ll be using as well. For this campaign, the mediums are print and digital. The videos will be posted on paid and organic social media, as well as our brand website.

What is the team composition?

We worked with about 10–12 people, including post-production.

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

They were referred to me by another agency in Spokane. We’ve awarded several other projects to them since we began working with them on the #FinishCancer campaign.

How much have you invested with them?

Between production and post-production, we’ve invested around $80,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in October of 2019, and we’re still working on post-production. We keep extending the reach of the campaign based on how much footage we’ve captured and how great the footage is.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their quality of work is great. We’ve had great feedback from all of our internal stakeholders. Many leaders in the hospital network in Southern California have been impressed by everything they’ve produced.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very organized and buttoned-up when it comes to account management. They’ve been fantastic at accommodating the scope of work getting bigger. They’ve also accommodated all sorts of different types of deliverables.

We’ve had one main point of contact, which has been Aaron (Producer, Colormatics). They’ve never missed a deadline, and all the estimates they’ve put together have been very reasonable.

We know we can call Aaron at any time if we have any questions. It’s been really great knowing we have one point of contact for all of our projects. Our team has gotten used to going to Aaron for anything they need. He’s really knowledgeable, and he’s always able to help us on the fly.

They use a tool called Frame.io. Even though we’ve been working with 22 videos, the tool has helped keep it all organized.  It’s very easy for us to receive updates from the tool and put our feedback directly back in.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They really want to show that they understand what you’re trying to achieve. They’re good at understanding the project’s overall goal, so we’ve never had any misunderstandings. They’ve hit the nail on the head every single time they’ve come back with estimates, footage, and edits.

There’s no “burn and churn” with this group. They know what information they need to be successful, and this has helped us be more efficient with our time.

Also, they listen to directions really well. (Since we’re a creative team as well, we’re pretty good about keeping our briefs clear and knowing the directions for each deliverable we have.)

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’ve had nothing but good experiences with them so far.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you have a crystal clear creative brief with set deliverables and creative objectives, they will execute on it. I’ve recommended them to a couple of other producers and production managers in my network, and that’s what I’ve told them.

- Review Type: Phone Interview

**The Review** — Jan 31, 2020

**Feedback Summary**: New clients have more than paid for the cost of the video, and the client is in talks to engage Colormatics for another video project. They displayed extensive experience with the technical aspects of the film shoot, and the client praises them for their personable resources and dynamic atmosphere.
""It was never a frustrating environment; they were always positive, fun, and super skilled."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the creative director or Relety, as well as being in charge of getting new clients. We’re a small company so I have a few roles. We reach the top 1% of realtors in the country and design high-end publications for them. It’s our main bread and butter. We do a buyer guide and a home-listing guide – trying to elevate marketing material in a cost-effective, custom way.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Colormatics?

We had some fairly large realtors—n terms of the scope of what they were doing around the country— that we wanted to feature talking about what it’s like to use our product. There were also a couple of commercial pieces we thought of that we wanted to use in targeted marketing toward realtors to generate more business. We thought video would be a great way to do all this.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They took care of all the video: shooting, editing, post-production. I did the writing and script but they handled the technical elements like staging, lighting, how we interviewed people. They also helped with distribution and advertising in terms of media buying, PPC, social media marketing. They guided us through the whole process.

What is the team composition?

There were four people on shoot day, and we interfaced with a few others, like a main account person, an editor, and a distribution person.

How did you come to work with Colormatics?

We’re located is in the same co-working space as them. I’d done some research locally, met them, and they seemed like good people.

How much have you invested with them?

Combining production, creative, execution, and media buying we spent around $11,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from June until August 2019.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re excited about the end product too, and I loved working with them. They were super fun on the shoot and had a refreshing process. It felt like we were friends going into it. Their interests aligned with ours as well so they would hear us out while also pushing back with their own ideas. It was a collaborative effort.

We didn’t have a huge budget—I know they do much larger stuff—but they took care of us. The number of clients we got from the videos has paid off exponentially. I still get value out of the videos now, even though we launched them last summer. We’re probably going to re-engage them soon to start another round of projects. Realtors tend to refer a lot, so we not only got new clients directly but also through word of mouth.

How did Colormatics perform from a project management standpoint?

I wanted a company that reflected who I was, and they did a good job. They always updated me on milestones and prodded me along to provide or review something if I needed to. I travel a lot, but they had an online software system. We had phone calls to go over comments on the videos too.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality that I got for the price is pretty substantial. the other companies I talked to either had a price that meant the video wouldn’t look as professional. I felt they really took care of me and I was their number one client even though I know I wasn’t.

I could definitely tell they’d done this a lot. They were flexible in the sense of adapting to changes in my schedule. It was never a frustrating environment; they were always positive, fun, and super skilled. They brought the necessary tools to execute on the shoot itself. Everything was lit well, and the cinematography and framing looked nice. They also treated my customers well on set.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could better explain the metrics they show on how everything is performing. I had enough information, but it could have been presented better. Sometimes they presented a lot of data and I was wondering what it all meant. I already gave them that feedback they were aware of it.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I came with ideas and didn’t realize they would have ideas as well. They learned about me quickly, so trust them to work together and collaborate with you. The ideas that they bring out are great.

### Up Your Excitement with PrizePicks
The Concept
PrizePicks wanted a concept centered on the ability to multiply your winnings by making more picks. But you can’t just say it, you need to feel it. "Up Your Excitement" shows that we are not talking in the abstract, PrizePicks will "up" to 25x your bet. To meet that energy, Colormatics brought a bunch of puppies, a cast of comedians, and a hot tub full of guacamole.

The Cast
Here’s where the commercial brought the comedy. Jared Quay, the former NFL player and comedian, leads the cast as the PrizePicks ambassador, a wish-granting genie. Chico Bean and Funny Marco, social media sensations, were set as the app users. Together they created an incredible performance, building the sense of excitement that makes PrizePicks what it is.

The Outcome
The resulting commercial was stuffed full of humor, surprise, and of course, daily fantasy sports. Set in an outdoor park, complete with taco trucks, ten puppies, and a guacamole hot tub, the commercial was a laugh riot.

### Heart Health Made Easy
Hello Heart is taking on the #1 cause of death - heart disease. With its easy-to-use monitor and app, the company's mission is to empower people to understand and improve their heart health using technology and behavioral science.Spreading the Word Having made largely B2B marketing efforts, the Hello Heart team was ready to make their first consumer-facing video. And not just any product explainer. Hello Heart wanted something fun, colorful, and eye-catching. Each character/scene would be associated with a different customer persona as they navigate their own unique journey to heart health.Putting the Cardio in Cardiovascular The Colormatics team designed three colored sets to represent each persona. Furniture and props were sourced and spray painted for that extra-stylized look. We'll admit it; our thrifted exercise bike from the 90s was the ultimate gem Meet Bella Did we mention there's a dog? Bella, the Boston Terrier, joined us on set as the adorable Hello Heart mascot. Don't worry, a handful of treats were given with every take.

### Fiverr "It Starts Here"
Fiverr,  the world's largest freelance marketplace that connects businesses with freelancers, offering digital services in 300+ categories, came to Colormatics with a once-in-a-lifetime challenge, how to reach a new set of buyers and sellers at the onset of COVID in May 2020. In response, Colormatics built a new campaign for a National TV ad buy that targeted specific viewers and expanded Fiverr's reach.

### Shaquille O'Neal & Crypto
Crypto, Less Complicated
As a leading crypto currency exchange, FTX's wide range of products and easy-to-use desktop and mobile trading apps draw crypto investors of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned professionals or, in crypto jargon, from newbies to whales.

A Man of Epic Proportions
You might know him as Big Shamrock, or maybe the Hobo Master. The new FTX sponsor goes by many names, but most recently, he’s become a master in crypto.

Big Shoes to Fill
Creating a video for one of the biggest celebrities of all time was no small task. After going back and forth on ideation and scripting, Colormatics settled on a tried-and-true approach; short, sweet, and quick to the punch.

Along for the Ride
Filming in the hustle and bustle of downtown Miami is one thing; planning a production during the Formula 1 Grand Prix is a different story. With FTX being a major sponsor of Mercedes Benz, it was the perfect storm. In just one day, Colormatics got to work with a living legend and experience a once in a lifetime event.

### Trevor Lawrence and Investing
The Future of Investing

The Future of Money Joins the Future of Football
FTX was previously positioned as the #1 cryptocurrency platform outside of the U.S, but all of this was about to change. Their newfound partnership with NFL draft pick, Trevor Lawrence, would give them the edge they needed to dominate the crypto market. Lawrence’s endorsement deal was the first in which a significant signing bonus was cryptocurrency. The bonus consisted of well-known and mainstream crypto coins, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, but also emerging coins that reflect the future of the crypto industry, such as Solana.

The Whole 9 Yards
FTX hired Colormatics to conceptualize, produce and deploy a digital campaign from start to finish. FTX wanted iconic digital ads that would transcend the world of investing as they knew it, so we took to the drawing board. With only 30 minutes of Trevor’s time before the draft, the team had to be creative and use this time wisely.

It’s Game Time
The Colormatics team traveled to Laguna Beach, CA, where the photoshoot with Trevor Lawrence took place. With the help of an amazing crew, the team spent a full day preparing a studio setup with intricate lighting. Crafting the light with colored LEDs was the final touch needed to complete the vision.

Reaching the Nation
The results of the campaign exceeded all expectations, gaining 1,531,250 clicks with a CTR of .17%, for a total of 878,766,913 impressions.

The Media Blitz
We targeted 29 NFL markets in the U.S. made up of consumers interested in crypto, finance and sports. By using the power of display ads along with native advertisements, we took the internet by storm well past Trevor’s partnership launch and the NFL Draft

### Behind The Fiverr Super Bowl Ad
Four Seasons Total Landscaping had their big moment in 2020 by hosting the most memorable press conference in history. Riding the wave, their website hits went from ten a week to tens of thousands. But how do you take a random event and a ? social media presence and turn it into a successful marketing plan?
Colormatics was hired by Fiverr to tell the story of the company and their partnership with Fiverr. We spent the day with them, learned about what made them tick, how their business had evolved, and what working with Fiverr was like. Combining a great interview with dynamic b roll and photography, Colormatics told the story behind the Super Bowl commercial to great interest and acclaim.

### Vanguard Gets Personal
Vanguard needed an engaging video to communicate their new Personal Advisor Services. The service offers financial planning and investment management by pairing technology and human advisors. The Vanguard video required several specifications, including diversity, complicated financial nuances, and legal review by the corporate team.
We created a complex animation that's elegant, dynamic, and engaging by creating relatable characters with personality and dimensionality.  Following a family throughout their lifetime, we see their financial picture transform.

### You in, Miami? Udonis Haslem
FTX Has Arrived in the 305

The $135 million FTX acquisition of Miami’s American Airlines Arena has ushered in a new era of crypto and basketball. Now home to the Miami Heat, the FTX Arena is bringing cryptocurrency to the world of sports and beyond!

The Prince of Miami

Udonis Haslem was the obvious choice as the main spokesperson for The Heat partnership. Prince of Miami and now the King of Crypto, UD has deep roots in the Miami community and is passionate about educating his fans about the power of cryptocurrency. He just has one question, ‘Are you in, Miami?’

Crypto for All
With basketball season just around the corner, FTX knew they had to make an Impact. What better way than to dedicate a commercial to Miami’s colorful culture? From the domino players to the beach-goers, crypto is for everyone! Colormatics intended to capture all walks of life that make up Miami’s vibrant community.

Miami State of Mind
Filming 8 locations in 3 days required two different teams on the ground. With the help of Florida’s best crews, Colormatics filmed all throughout Miami, from Little Haiti to Coconut Grove. Oh, and one more thing…a final edit needed to be ready within 2 days after the shoot! Colormatics was up for the challenge, which is why we brought our Senior Editor on the shoot to begin editing a cut as footage came in. Who says high end production can’t be scrappy?

Goin' Down For Real
Being one of the biggest icons to come out of Florida, It was only fitting that we had Flo Rida be featured in the commercial. Fun fact: Udonis and Flo Rida are also best buds!

Bringing the Heat
'You in, Miami?’ kicked off The Miami Heat’s opening night and has aired at every home game in FTX Arena. Along with the ad being on broadcast, cable, and digital programmatic, FTX brand awareness has jumped significantly since the start of the year. Flo Rida, and his iconic GDFR song, brought this commercial to new heights.

### Providence is Finishing Cancer
Do I have the right doctor? Do I need that procedure? What do I need to do today to better care for myself and my family tomorrow? Caring for one’s health comes with all sorts of uncertainties, and competition in the healthcare industry is growing fiercer by the day. For an institution like Providence, storytelling is one of the most effective ways to differentiate its offerings and services from the rest of the pack.

### Shiseido
Shiseido wanted to show its customers how to use their upscale new White Lucent Brightening Cream in an upbeat, fun, and informative video. Using art direction, lighting, and camera movement, Colormatics created a natural and effortless looking video filled with eye-popping product videography.

### Macy's Live Stream Fashion Event
As COVID-19 has changed the world in every way, the launch party has become a thing of the past. Macy's private clothing label INC collaborated with Olivia Culpo and her sisters, Sophia, and Aurora for a fabulous fashion line. This would be the first product line Macy's had launched without an in-person event.
Colormatics worked with Macy's internal PR team to develop an event around an evening of cocktails and fun, headlined by the always entertaining Culpo sisters. Each sister brought a different cocktail to the party, which Colormatics pre-filmed with the style and technique we learned from our work with The Macallan.

### These Hands
Leveraging our years of high-end production, Colormatics crafted spots showcasing JDC’s unique design center and the artisans that work there, as well as their customer-friendly policies. Incredible product photography highlight innovative interviews that tell JDC’s story.

### The Visit
GEP, the producer of one of the most innovative sources to pay procurement platforms, needed an innovative way to show the unique advantages of their platform to prospective clients. Working with GEP, Colormatics developed a four-part series, The Visit, where a prospective client of GEP visits a current evangelist for a tour of how her company has transformed in a short period of time.

### The Macallan Re-Brand
Changing your packaging changes everything. The Macallan wanted to use the opportunity of redesigning its iconic whisky bottles to redefine its portfolio into three distinct ranges. Working with The Macallan’s brand ambassadors, Colormatics created a series of tasting videos that compared each whiskey as defined by the cask it uses and the distillation age. Paired with incredible product shots, each video is a celebration of craftsmanship and style.

### Budweiser
We like our beer the same way we like our hockey: ICE COLD. So when Budweiser, America's best-selling beer, partnered with the NHL for an unforgettable night of hockey, we were excited to help capture it. Budweiser brought in 10,000 cups that light up RED whenever the home team, scored a goal. Our challenge was twofold: shoot and edit all the action on the ice and in the stands, while also promoting, posting, and uploading the content in real-time. Game on!

### Lemonade Insurance
The Challenge:
How do you get millennials excited about something as old-school as renter’s insurance? Lemonade Insurance, an insurance carrier offering homeowners and renters insurance powered by artificial intelligence and behavioral economics, wanted to launch with a big splash but needed a way to quickly explain to a new market why they need insurance and how their product changes everything.
Working with and supporting Lemonade’s branding philosophy, Colormatics developed an illustrated explainer that would capture attention quickly, communicate clearly, and build a sense of trust authentically.

### The Sound of Spokane
The Spokane Symphony crafted a new brand for its 75th season, “The Sound of Spokane.” Colormatics was tasked with finding a way to increase awareness and promote the upcoming season in a manner conforming to that compelling brand. No hype. No manipulation. No Script. Just a commercial created from beautiful shots of Spokane’s finest performers among amazing and historical locations.

### Stephen Curry & Shaq - Not an Expert
The Hot Shot of Basketball
As basketball’s 3-point legend, Stephen Curry is recognized as one of the greatest stars in NBA history. He’s also a loving father, husband, entrepreneur, philanthropist, oh, and golfer! Stephen’s owns multiple companies, including his personal SC30 brand and the Eat.Learn.Play. Foundation alongside his wife, Ayesha Curry.

Curry’s Currency
FTX announced its partnership with Stephen Curry, and the race began for an exciting new campaign. The possibilities were endless for this legendary duo, but with only 6 hours of Stephen’s time and a tight deadline, FTX called on Colormatics to make sh*t happen.

Jack of all Trades, Master of the Game
Stephen’s known for being an expert on the court, but what about investing in crypto? Plot twist – he doesn’t need to be! With the FTX app, crypto can be safe and easy for everyone; this was the main messaging for our video concept and campaign. Following Stephen throughout a day of outrageous activities, the audience concludes that crypto doesn’t need to be complicated.

Anything But Boring
If there’s one thing we do, it’s our homework. Whether it was scouting locations, arranging test runs, or applying for proper permitting, the one-day video shoot was made possible with a week of pre-production prep. Even a custom-made Bored Ape ice sculpture? Yep, we made that happen too.

The Voice of Reason
After hearing some of the industry's most iconic voices, Shaquille O'Neal was chosen to be the VO of the commercial. Two basketball legends in one video? Now, that's some star power. Even more, Shaq's love of crypto made this the perfect pair.

On Nov 15th 2021, the commercial launched via social media, running during the NBA playoffs and every game of the finals. We also took over Bleacher Report, Draft Kings, and Twitch, garnering hundreds of millions of impressions. Stephen even called it his, "funnest day on set ever.”

### Centrum Product Launch
After being recognized for decades for their product Centrum Silver, Centrum was looking to create a splash by developing two new products: a whole food vitamin and a natural protein powder.
Colormatics created bite-sized, gripping social content to build awareness and excitement for the new products. Working over the course of a week with our partners at TBWA, Colormatics executed that vision, developing clean and simple short commercials that start the process of building brand recognition.

### Flipz
Partnering with Flipz Chocolate Pretzels and PR Agency M Booth, Colormatics was tasked with producing an epic movie trailer for their promotional product, the Ja-HACK-et. Our team was given seven days to storyboard, cast four main roles and 20 extras, secure a movie theater in the heart of Manhattan, and produce an incredible spot.
