• We hired HMD on to provide low-cost, effective transportation of our trailer parts to both our production and aftermarket parts facilities.

HMD Trucking participated in our freight carrier RFP, won a number of dedicated business lanes and has been hauling them for us since. We plan to include HMD in all of our future business opportunities.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• Freight costs. We were able to compare HMD's costs to other providers and found cost savings in specfiic lanes. 
• It's the non-measureable things like service and customer support that have separated HMD from other providers.

HMD's team was and remains quick to respond to all sorts of requests and projects that we have. They exceeed expectations when it comes to response times and windows.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What is most impressive about HMD Transport's team is how customer-focused they are. They provide a level of customer service that is borderline obsessive. They're on top of their business from start to finish. Although HMD is a large company their team also feels unique and locked in to our business despite us not being the largest customer in the world to them. 

It doesn't seem to matter if you're hauling one load of 1,000 loads with HMD. The level of support is still as strong as any sort of carrier I've seen or worked with. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something HMD Transport could have done differently?

Nothing that I can think of off the top of my head, no.
