What specific goals or objectives did you hire Leadium to accomplish?
- Our main goal for bringing Leadium on board was pretty straight forward. We had been struggling a bit to build out a robust lead pipeline – we just didn’t have enough bodies in-house to cover all bases. So, we were looking to expand our sales efforts without having to add a ton of staff or infrastructure. I mean, with a team of 75, you can imagine how stretched thin we often are.
- Thus, we turned to Leadium to help accelerate our sales cycle. We wanted them to bring fresh leads to the table, set up appointments with potential clients and essentially help keep our sales funnel full. It was all about leveling up our game and reaching out to a wider audience that we wouldn’t have been able to connect with on our own. Cutting through the noise and getting our brand right in front of those who matter – that’s what we were after.
- We specifically wanted to tap into their expertise in outreach strategy, hoping that it would help us generate more quality conversations which in turn would translate into increased sales opportunities. The meat of our project with Leadium included expanding our lead generation and filling up our sales pipeline to get more hooks in the water, so to speak. We needed more potential clients to converse with and foster relationships with— conversations that we don't have the manpower to do in-house. We already had our own small insides sales team but we were lookin to extend their sales efforts without hiring more people.
So essentially, we leaned on Leadium to build out a robust lead pipeline and keep our pipeline humming along without missing a beat. Some of the key deliverables we were hoping for included quality leads that would be in line with our target audience, setting up meaningful appointments with these prospects for our sales team, and finally, an increased rate of conversions from lead to client.
Their experienced team really knocked it out of the park on these fronts, leveraging their expertise in outreach strategy and I must say, the increase in conversations with potential clients was quite refreshing. Truly a worthwhile investment for us. The team also provided detailed reports on their outreach efforts, keeping us in the loop along the way.
This was important to us, because just like any other business, we needed to continually monitor and evaluate our approach. At the end of the day, Leadium met our aim of getting our brand front and center of those who matter, in a noisy, crowded market. What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
In terms of measurable outcomes, we saw a significant uptick in our lead generation, which was incredibly important for us. We've been able to connect with a much wider audience and I honestly don't think we would've been able reach this kind of scale without Leadium's help. One number I'd like to throw out there is that our team has seen an increase of about 37% in lead volume— and this is a solid, high-quality lead base that's right in our target market, it's not just miscellaneous traffic.
This boost in lead volume has really put us in a stronger position to meet our sales targets. We've also noticed a marked improvement in the conversion rate from lead to client. We're now looking at around a 17% conversion rate, up from the 8% we were seeing pre-Leadium. This may not seem like a huge leap on paper, but in the grand scheme of things, it's a game changer for our sales pipeline.
More conversions mean more of our conversations are turning into actionable sales opportunities, and that's exactly what we were hoping for. I should also mention the number of appointments Leadium has set up for us. We've seen about a 53% rise in scheduled appointments with prospective clients, which has been instrumental in facilitating these important conversions.
As a result, our sales team has had their hands full in the best way possible. They're no longer chasing after leads, but instead, they're engaged in meaningful discussions with potential clients who are truly interested in what we've got to offer. The project management from Leadium was, in a word, remarkable. First off, they delivered on time. And I don’t mean just meeting deadlines, I mean they brought our results—the lead generation and the appointment setting—much quicker than anticipated. Honestly, when you’re trying to move and shake in sales, every minute counts, and Leadium sure knows how to make each one worthwhile.
And as for how they responded to our needs—fantastically is the only way to describe it! They were highly receptive and open to our goals and feedback, always eager to adapt as necessary. Regular communication was the hallmark of this partnership. Whether it was about reports, updates or any random inquiry, the Leadium team was always there to fill us in, keep us posted and answer all our questions.
That kind of an active, prompt response is worth its weight in gold in our fast-paced environment. The best part was that they were keen on understanding our market and target audience really well—not just at the start but throughout the project. What I found most impressive about Leadium was how seamlessly they integrated with our existing team structure. I mean, honestly, it was hard to distinguish at times where our team ended and theirs began. They didn’t act as a distinct entity, more like an extended arm of our own sales squad. Our expectations weren’t exactly low-key.
We needed high-quality leads that aligned perfectly with our target audience, meaningful appointments set up with these prospects, and an improved conversion rate from lead to client. Even with these high bars, Leadium worked meticulously, combining their expertise with our business needs to deliver exactly what we aimed for, if not more.
It was very refreshing to see the increased conversations and connections with potential clients. Each update was meticulously documented, with complete transparency about their outreach approaches. I loved their dedication to providing regular and precise updates. With such a fast-paced environment around, Leadium’s prompt responses were a boon.
Yet another impressive factor was the visible improvement in our lead volume. Our team saw an incredible 37% jump in high-quality, targeted leads and a rise in conversion rates by 17%. Are there any areas for improvement or something Leadium could have done differently?
While we've found our partnership with Leadium to be invaluable in helping us hit our goals, there's certainly always room to improve. In hindsight, it would've been great if they could have delved deeper into our industry at the outset. I understand they serve a wide range of businesses across many sectors, but a bit more of that 'industry insider' view would have accelerated the start of our campaign and perhaps led to some further customization and fine-tuning of their strategies for us.
I mean, don’t get me wrong, they caught up pretty quickly, but an in-depth understanding right from the get-go would've taken it to a whole other level. On another note, their reports are useful, but they could be more streamlined.
It was a lot of data, which is great, but a more concise summary attached would be helpful, cause we often found ourselves buried in the nitty gritty when we just needed the highlights. Lastly, and this is nitpicky, but with the different time zones, scheduling calls sometimes became a little bit tricky but we were always able to work it out.
Maybe implement an automated scheduling tool would be easier for planning catch-ups. Having mentioned these areas of improvement, I’d like to emphasize that Leadium still exceeded our expectations. They became an extension of our team, providing us with the tools and resources that allowed us not just to reach our audience but to truly engage them.
I guess what I'm saying is, even with these little bumps, engaging with Leadium was totally worth it. No company is perfect, but in terms of delivering on what they said they would, they more than met the mark. I’d still highly recommend them for anyone in need of an awesome sales development and lead gen partner and definitely look forward to our continued collaboration.
