For ads, the scope was to build and execute LinkedIn and Google Ads campaigns, including planning, targeting, creative development, and tracking setup, as well as ongoing optimization. 

For SEO and content, the scope was to improve organic visibility through keyword research, on-page optimisation, and the creation of SEO-optimized blogs.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Startup Voyager helped us improve both organic and paid performance. 

For organic, they were able to scale the website's traffic by over 30% during the time frame they worked with us. 

This included publishing over 13 new pieces of content, for which they achieved page 1 wins for key BOFU and MOFU terms such as MPC custody, crypto vault and crypto wallet hacked. They were even able to rank io.finnet at position #1 for one of the most important target terms: enterprise crypto wallet — outranking established key competitors in the process.

On ads, we saw stronger engagement, clearer targeting, and more efficient spend through ongoing optimisation.

I engaged Startup Voyager to increase conversions on the Cyclone Pods website. The expectation is to generate more sales from the site.

To be more specific: 

• They created OptinMonster campaigns that worked on two fronts:
• Driving traffic from the blog to shop pages.
• Encouraging “Add to Carts” and purchases on shop pages to improve the average order value and overall revenue while reducing cart abandonment.
• They ran A/B tests on opt-ins to optimize the website conversion rate.
• They monitored website traffic and interactions on Google Analytics to identify opportunities to improve conversions.
• They have also started suggesting UI/UX and copy changes to the product and category pages to drive product purchases and revenue.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• Conversion opt-in campaigns boosted attributable revenue by 13.37% over 4 months (September-December ‘24). 
• Currently, around 20% of our monthly revenue is generated due to CRO activities.
• Black Friday and Cyber Monday ‘24 conversion opt-in campaigns helped generate around 24% of the total sales revenue during the event. 
• There has been a 4.39% decrease in cart abandonments via dedicated cart abandonment campaigns.

Startup Voyager uses ClickUp, a project management tool, to track every task in the CRO project. They consistently deliver items on time and maintain a regular cadence. The team was very responsive to comments and changes if needed. They also regularly updated the CRO performance and suggested strategy changes when needed.

I worked with Peter and the Startup Voyager team for over a year to grow GoFractional's organic search traffic from zero to becoming our primary source of inbound traffic. Peter's team took a strategic, data-driven approach to SEO by building out a comprehensive keyword strategy. This strategy focused on identifying keywords with high search volume that we could realistically rank for while also targeting phrases that our potential customers were searching for—leading to higher conversion rates.

The process was incredibly streamlined. Startup Voyager produced content outlines, drafts, and production-ready blog posts that were all tracked in a project management tool for full transparency. • Keyword Rankings: Several blog posts now rank #1 on Google for important search terms in our niche.
• Organic Traffic Growth: Organic search became the main source of traffic for GoFractional.com accounting for nearly 50% of traffic
• Lead Generation: The increase in targeted organic traffic has directly translated into more qualified leads for our business and 100% growth in revenue
• These measurable outcomes had a direct impact on our bottom line, contributing to business growth and making SEO a core part of our marketing strategy.

What impresses me most about Startup Voyager is their deep understanding of SEO and their ability to craft a strategy that aligned perfectly with our business goals. They didn’t just focus on driving traffic—they focused on attracting the right kind of traffic. Their emphasis on finding rankable keywords with high search volume and a strong potential for customer conversion made a huge difference for us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Startup Voyager could have done differently?

One area where we faced some challenges was due to our custom-built site with unique technology. This made it a bit more difficult for Startup Voyager to implement certain SEO strategies directly, and some of the work required collaboration with our engineering team. 

That said, this issue was specific to our platform, and I don’t think it would be a problem for companies using more standard platforms like WordPress or Webflow. Despite this, Startup Voyager remained flexible and worked closely with our team to ensure everything was optimized effectively.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Startup Voyager grew our organic traffic from 0–100,000 visitors a month in just 10 months. We continue to rank in Google's top 10 for several competitive keywords related to wine, wine investing, whiskey investing, and alternative investing in general, beating several high-authority finance sites.

How did Startup Voyager perform from a project management standpoint?

Startup Voyager collaborated with us on our internal project management tool (Notion) for blog submissions. We could clearly see which ones were in progress and which ones were submitted and published. Depending on the month's budget, they helped us publish 8–15 articles a month — all delivered on time. They also provided us with regular updates on content performance and suggested changes to the content strategy based on those updates. Overall, the team was very flexible and prompt with any queries and ad hoc requests.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed by the fact that they were able to scale up our traffic so quickly and outrank several high-authority wine websites with over 10 years of experience.

Startup Voyager could have explored additional alternative investment clusters, but given the scope of the content strategy at that point, their approach effectively met its target of reaching 100,000.
