MediaSense will be updating its brand to reflect a fresh proposition following the acquisition of R3 and PwC UK’s Media Advisory business. On the back of that, we plan to update the current MediaSense website (www.media-sense.com) to reflect our new brand image, which will be finalised in July 2025.   The look and feel of the website, and up to 3 internal pages, will be designed by an appointed brand agency.
What we need from a website development agency is:

• Application of the brand design across the revised website
•  Update of website architecture
• Development of new website pages (11 new page templates)
• Build of additional features/plugins into the page templates; we will share examples
• Reformat any content from the existing MediaSense website
•  Publishing of new content will be completed by our internal marketing teams (via CMS)
• We would like to remain on a WordPress platform

Perhaps better connection with branding agency, but brief was brand expression hand over (which was delayed - but not part of StudioMade's brief/remit).

Studiomade is an excellent resource for support on brand stategy and messaging work, they provide their expert advice and guidance, listening to our needs and then supporting us to shape and hone the project to deliver against those needs. They put together a clear proposal with timelines and budgets and delivered against those accurately and efficiently.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their recommendation to use our existing digital channels ie Facebook to help us shape our brand messaging and strategy was a very cost-effective, efficient way to achieve our objectives and gave us very targeted feedback. Their expertise was invaluable to help us deliver the project.

• Design, develop and update a web-based but mobile-ready application to track the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs' annual sessions.

The CND App was developed and regularly updated by Studiomade. The app is powered by a JavaScript and HTML application. The frontend was built using CSS and integrated with Cordova for mobile access. Multiple APIs were developed in PHP, and a WordPress instance was set up to update content related to the CND sessions' proceedings.

The app allows experts at the annual sessions of the CND to navigate the CND proceedings, access key knowledge resources, and engage effectively in this forum. It was incredibly well received by its target users — diplomats and civil society representatives at the UN’s primary drug policy making body. Studiomade provided valuable feedback to enhance the app's usability and adoption. 
The app's success led to the UN's IT services integrating some of its functions, such as a ‘live’ list of speakers, thereby improving accessibility and clarity. Although the app is currently disabled due to funding challenges, we hope to maintain and develop it further. Its web-based version remains an incredibly valuable tool.

Over its seven years of existence, the application has been used by hundreds of drug policy experts, including diplomats and civil society representatives, attending the annual sessions of the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND).

Studiomade's work has always been excellent and the team is highly responsive to our queries. For seven years, the app's updates were developed on time and to the highest standards.

Particularly in our virtual meetings, when challenges were posed in terms of functionalities that we desired but were difficult to develop, the team always came up with really fitting ideas that allowed us to surpass roadblocks and produce an application that looked great and worked even better.

Can't think of anything at the moment. They have been brilliant and so dilligent!

The work involved various aspects of creating an online showcase to feature British Digital Health companies, accessible through a structure of multi-level categories, free text searching and detailed profile information for each individual company.

The portal also includes the capability for new companies to apply to be included and for the client team (us) to review and onboard companies. We also have the editorial rights for all content changes and administration of company content.

The delivery was on time and almost entirely to brief. Studiomade were exceptional in either meeting the brief, offering constructive challenge or being clear that the scope wa beyond the brief. They were very responsive and I cannot fault them. They hadly put a foot wrong and I'm grateful and impressed at the same time by their professionalism, competence and communication.
