Very impressed with the Project Management. Overally project, sprints and outcomes were all clearly documented. As well as 2 x weekly stand ups we received EOD reports and a more in depth weekly report. Clearly very experience PMs.

We came to offshorly with a swift prototype app built inhouse that we wanted to take through to cross-platform release supported by a web portal to deliver signup/account setup, account management and reporting functionality.

Release of our app - Knomad - through both Google Play store and App store and launch of the portal website accessible through the login and sign-up links at www.knomad.co.uk

Offshorly delivered and then some! We had weekly stand up calls throughout the project to monitor progress and they were helpful and flexible when changes were required.

We've worked with Offshorly for five years. The team works across our platform on new product development and support maintenance. Regarding technologies, the team uses PHP, Python, Java, and React.js and is also exploring AI technologies.

Offshorly has absolutely underpinned our company's rapid growth by providing excellent software development services. Offshorly delivers exceptionally high-quality work with zero escaped bugs after identifying them in QA. We don't experience downtime, and the team provides high-performing coding. I highly recommend working with Offshorly — they're an integral part of our development engineering and development teams.

Offshorly delivers work on time and on budget. The team is also incredibly responsive when I've come late with requests, being able to deliver work that wasn't planned initially. We communicate via email and virtual meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Offshorly has delivered exactly what we need, and I'm very happy with the team. Offshorly proposes ideas and isn't just waiting for work to be assigned. Offshorly is proactive in suggesting what we can do moving forward, and I don't see them as just a development service provider. Offshorly comes up with ideas before we even think of them and acts almost as an in-house development team.

I can't think of anything Offshorly can improve on.

I suggest not having a finished view of your product when engaging with Offshorly. Instead, come in with a general idea and allow the team to iterate it with you.

Offshorly has made our team more efficient, and the product they support is already out in the market. Their work is to very high standards. 

They’re an integral part of our team and have been key to driving the success of our business. We’ve expanded the team after seeing how reliable they are; we’ve had a great experience with them.

How did Offshorly perform from a project management standpoint?

Offshorly works hard to meet deadlines. Their engineers have integrated seamlessly into all of our teams, and they work quickly. Offshorly’s graphic design and web development teammates are quick, adaptable, and reliable. It’s beneficial for us to have teammates in a slightly different time zone. 

The team can work independently but is understanding of our company processes. They ask good questions and are always extremely diligent, take initiative, and follow the process we’ve laid out. We use project management tools and communicate via Slack.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

They’re all very good; the team as a whole is great, and it’d be unfair to pick just one.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have a can-do attitude and are positive. They have a spirit of pushing forward and saying yes; it’s great to have teammates with such a positive outlook.

I am the Senior Designer at Bodillo. A software company working with club owners to reduce their admin and grow revenue.

For what projects/services did your company hire Offshorly, and what were your goals?

Our mission is to be the market leading class management and payment system for club owners. As a result, we hired Offshorly to develop a custom solution that could handle our customers needs. This included an admin system, app, web booking widget and dashboards for tracking analytics.

Additionally, we required a marketing website to attract new customers. Our goal was to have a scalable solution to reduce the admin for club owners and hit their revenue targets. It was essential the build fit to our tight timeline and had the ability to add new features.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found them through a referral. Because the project was such a high priority and extremely custom, we needed a results-driven team that was committed to providing customer support.

The team developed an app and class management system based on existing designed provided by myself. We first started with introductory video calls to go over our business challenges and goals. Then, Offshorly provided a business rules spreadsheet for our internal team to populate, ensuring all functionally was understood and listed. A project timeline and cost breakdown was drawn up and approved.

From there, regular standups were initiated to track progress during the build time. The initial build was completed in December 2021 and the team began internal QA in the new year. Beta testing started in early February 2022. We launched all products before the months end. The product has evolved throughout the build process, Offshorly was extremely agile in their approach and helped us prioritise new feature builds.

There were 4 people in the core team, including a Project Manager and x3 Senior Developers (including an App Developer). Other resources would come and go depending on the projects need.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were able to launch all products in February 2022. They were all finished to a high standard, this was a major achievement for us. It has allowed clubs to automate their processes, saving them time to focus on other important tasks and grow revenue/bookings. We are so pleased with the teams performance and will be continuing work with them to maintain our products and add new features.

Very impressive, extremely agile. Their project management style is far more sophisticated than any agencies I have worked with in the past. When outlining the scope of the project, we worked to a business rules document, this ensured the team had a full understanding of all features.

We received weekly progress reports and took part in team standups three times a week on Google Meets. Offshorly responded promptly to email enquires and were readily available when we needed them.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their work ethic and problem-solving skills were impeccable. I trust Offshorly implicitly and have no doubts about their abilities when it comes to resolving unexpected challenges during the build.

While the quality of their work is outstanding, they could have been more diligent when internally QAing the system.

I'm a consultant at The Conversion Co. We help consultancies to create a more predictable pipeline of business by creating content-rich websites with strategic direction and a focus on proactively moving prospects towards a sale.

For what projects/services did your company hire Offshorly, and what were your goals?

We hired Offshorly for the implementation of a Hubspot CMS website for an agency who we were consulting with on sales funnel strategy. The aim was to create a website and marketing funnels that could be managed in-house by an international team that are not rich in technical skills.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Offshorly cane recommended to us by another consulting firm who had used them with success.

We worked with Offshorly to interrogate the proposed site and funnel plans and understand the user journey at each step, and the data requirements that these would throw up.

They successfully turned a brand which was predominantly based on offline materials into a modern-professional set of web design mockups, and were able to follow through to execution without the hitting barriers of poorly thought-out design that we heve experienced with other design firms.

The designs were then built into a set of templates in the CMS so that the client could create new pages with their own text, images & video. Finally we worked together with the client to build out fully working funnels including lead capture forms, PDF downloads, follow-up emails and webinar replay content.

We worked primarily with the project manager and a lead developer on the project. Other resources including design and front-end development were managed by them.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project was delivered on time and budget, and with minimal revisions or changes at the final QA steps. The client has seen an immediate uplift in lead flow from better SEO rankings, clearer calls to action for lead capture and funnels that both lead the prospect towards the sale and also create data for business development teams to pro-actively reach out to engaged prospects.

We were given access to their project management tools to see task progress, and group chat tools for any discussion, with regular zoom calls if anything needed more depth of discussion and clarification. Issues were dealt with promptly, the oly delays being down to time differences and occasional differences of holidays in the Philipines where the developers are based.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The coding has been of a good standard, far higher than we've seen from other offshore operations, and when we've gone back in for change requests, the team has picked them up quick. It had't felt like restarting the project like it has with some other outfits. There was a far better sense of continuity with the Offshorly team than most agencies ever gave.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Keeping track of the many tiny changes and fixes at the end of the project sometimes felt a little messy but in the end there were fewer "laps" of changes than we've experienced elsewhere.

Offshorly understands complex requirements and have the experience to estimate and deliver according to plan. The account managers are technical with years of expereince in the industry and provide a valuable resource in defining technical deliverables and input on best approach to delivery. We have used Offshorly for multiple projects over the years, from simple to complex and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
