I am the CEO and cofounder of a company, a nonprofit organization, that is working to begin and launch a campaign to help children improve their reading skills by encouraging families to turn on close captions and turn screen time into reading time

For what projects/services did your company hire Digital Radar, and what were your goals?

How to get a viral marketing campaign reaching out to dozens initially, and thousands eventually of celebrities, news people, influencers, educators, and families to encourage them to spread the word that watching screens with close caption is effective and successful and will lead to better reading skills and better outcomes in life

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I have known the principles of digital radar for quite some time and they have worked on another project for a different company I am involved with successfully and effectively.

We had a website that has been designed by a team and Toronto along with a number of other folks around the world but we wanted it to look more slick and smooth, and integrate with our public service announcement movies/videos, and to give a better feel for the kinds of activities we were doing

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Digital radar assigned 4 to 5 people at various times to work on this project. Folks with skills in digital marketing, website design, copywriting, social media, and integrated SEO skills

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

It is still early in the process, but we are very happy with the progress is being made and expect to see a very successful launch in September and to review the results in more detail then.

The team is very focused on project management, and deliverables, and making sure that a weekly scrum is affective, focused, and equal sharing of information in both directions. So that nothing runs off track for very long and we can quickly bring any problems to the forefront

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their high level of professionalism and efficiency has been impressive. The same goes for their talent and capabilities. They continue to bring the right people to the table to make sure that we are solving the problem with the best talent available.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We may have started with a project that was too broad and too wide, and would have been effective with something a little bit smaller and more tightly focused, in order to get everybody up to speed on our needs and deliverables and philosophy, a little more quickly.

I’m the CEO of US Military WarDogs Baseball, a nonprofit baseball team. We raise money for veterans dealing with PTSD, homelessness, and unemployment.

What challenge were you trying to address with Digital Radar?

We were looking for a marketing firm to help us grow our online presence.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Digital Radar helps us with digital marketing. The team works on our Facebook page and optimizes our website to help us grow our brand awareness. Additionally, they’ve helped us with design ideas.

What is the team composition?

We usually work with 2–3 people, but we’ve worked with 5–6 teammates on bigger projects. 

How did you come to work with Digital Radar?

An attorney working for a Major League Baseball team connected us to Digital Radar. We then talked to them on LinkedIn and decided to hire them.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in January 2018, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Thanks to Digital Radar’s help, we went from having four members to now boasting over 650 members all over the world. We’ve really grown our audience of active duty and veteran baseball players, and we’re happy to see how excited they’ve been to be a part of our cause. 

How did Digital Radar perform from a project management standpoint?

The team has gone above and beyond our expectations. They’re able to come up with a detailed plan very quickly and finish their work well before the deadline. Their promptness gives us enough time to review their work and still be on time. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We appreciate how hard Digital Radar has worked to help us out. They know how a veteran’s mindset works, which is perfect. They’re also personable and get along with our team.

No, there’s nothing they could do differently.

I am the Founder and Design Director of Kalapa Design Studio. We are a cryptocurrency design and consulting studio.

For what projects/services did your company hire Digital Radar, and what were your goals?

We hired Digital Radar to help with one of our clients needs as they grew outside the capacity we were able to handle internally. With a regularly increasing list of tasks including design, custom development, and overall site consistency, we knew we needed more dedicated resources available for support.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Having lived in Arizona previously, I personally knew the founding partners of Digital Radar. While working with other clients, we crossed paths and spoke about the possibility of sharing the workload for particular tasks with specific clients. Since we already knew the capabilities of Digital Radar and their team, it was not just an easy decision, but an obvious one.

Our agency is very set on regular communication and full transparency, and Digital Radar is no different. We spoke regularly about the particular staffing they wanted to assign to our project and kept our team updated throughout the process. We then continued speaking regularly to monitor progress, answer questions, and provide clarification along the way.

This helped to speed up the process of tasks that might have otherwise been delayed had they waited for feedback at a designated check-in time. Since this was an E-Commerce project, the tools used were focused around Shopify and the subsequent themes and plugins for the client site.

We worked with one of the founding members of Digital Radar who was communicating with the remainder of the team and to stay on top of resource allocation and contract negotiations. Additionally, we worked regularly with a handful of their team directly to complete the outstanding tasks.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Digital Radar was able to complete all outstanding tasks in a timely and efficient manner that allowed our team to free up our resources and solve outstanding tasks with other clients. They were professional and able to handle anything that was thrown their way to the point where we did not have to worry about checking in as often as we have on other projects with less capable teams.
