Communication and resources were deciding factors. KODA was able to deliver round the clock support and provide cost effective solutions that met our needs.

SSL, Database management, payment integration and communication were all major aspects of this project.

A project manager was our main point of contact and we had a team of several devs updating the site and providing detailed notes that we could track and comment on.

Hiring a technical developer who could help build out the backend of the product for a cost that would fit into our budget, including ongoing maintenance.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Selected working with Son years back due to his experience and professionalism based on what needed to be done (as they grew, I worked with other members of Koda's team in addition). Interviewed 10+ developers prior to starting and Son was at the top of the list for our build.

We had a series of initial chats to layout the vision I had in mind for the app and based on the wireframes I put together and the many user flows. Once the test versions were deployed, we had a number of iterations to get it dialed prior to launching in the app stores.

Years back, it was just one developer. As they grew a few years ago, I worked with a dedicated member of their team that helped handle us as a client between us and the development team.
