Creative Dock is a startup builder. We build digital services and mobile apps for European markets. I hired Qream while being in the role of project manager, and now I continue working closely with them after my transition to the role of customer experience lead.

For what projects/services did your company hire Qream?

Our company is based in Austria and Czech Republic, building a mobile app for Ukrainian market. We were looking for UX/UI designer with knowledge of local market specifics and user needs.

What were your goals for this project?

The aim was to launch digital service on (for us) foreign market in a short time, and continue adding new features at fast pace. Our app is quite complex with integrations to several third party service providers. Our main challenge was to deliver excellent quality for customers on tight deadline while keeping multiple stakeholders satisfied.

How did you select this vendor?

I have found Qream on Upwork. After considering 6 different designers, the final decision was to hire this agency. The decision was clear because they were the only ones who did not start the conversation with organizational requests but by asking how they can help us deliver the best value for end users.

They sent us a few links on their previous works, and also immediately proposed valuable design solutions for our app. The decision to hire Qream was made by me and CEO of the project.

Describe the project in detail.

Very complex mobile app offering administrative and financial tools such as invoices, bookkeeping, tax reporting, payments or currency exchange. Two designers were dedicated to product/UX design - defining user flows, creating wireframes and clickable prototypes, conducting user testing and prototype iterations.

One designer worked specifically on UI design - designing UI components, defining the component library and applying final UI on app screens while working closely with front-end developers on implementation.

What was the team composition?

Initially, we started with one designer. Later on we hired two more in the team because their expertise goes far beyond UX/UI design. Three designers were working closely with our product, IT dev and marketing team. Qream designers basically became a crucial part of our team.

Giving us valuable insights for marketing strategy and took leadership in product design. In the end, they covered tasks from scope definition, UX/UI design and user testing, to helping IT developers make decisions.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project is still ongoing. Nevertheless, we've launched the first feature about a month ago and we keep getting extremely positive feedback from our first users. First (indicative) NPS has reached almost 60 points which we didn't expect at all.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We were working with the CEO and two designers from their team. The communication was smooth, all of them are well organized and open to feedback. All three were in daily touch with our project team. Often times taking part in decision making meetings.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was blown away by the way they were able to handle sometimes unclear briefs from our side as well as floating deadlines. All designers were constantly available and also open to any feedback. We especially appreciate their professionalism and expertise in fintech which exceeded our original expectations. Their comprehensive knowledge of local market is also impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Everything can be done faster or better of course. Nevertheless they delivered just the right balance between time and quality in order to meet deadlines while creating value for users.

When we began the engagement, I came in with my own ideas of how I wanted the website to look. Together, we collaborated and discussed alternatives, and we ended up going forward with their designs.

I saw their portfolio on Dribbble, so I contacted them. They sent me a few links, which were ultimately the deciding factor when I was choosing a team to work with.

The engagement took place from December 2019-March 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m happy with the results, and that they weren’t hesitant to make suggestions they felt would serve my brand better. They’re professional designers that I knew I could trust.

Qream also provided excellent customer service. Given that and the quality of their work, I’ll definitely be contacting them if we need additional help, changes, or design work in the future.

How did Qream perform from a project management standpoint?

The team was very responsive. If we ever had a question or needed something corrected, they were immediately available. Everything about the process was clear, easy, and fast. To stay in touch, we used Messenger and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their responsiveness and general project management style were impressive. I also appreciated their design ideas—the second designer on the project brought very fresh, interesting ideas.

Complete design from wireframes and MVP stage, UX design, UI design, A/B user testing, UX mastering, usability analytics through Google analytics, and hotjar with following design mastering. Also, we proposed further design maintenance if new features implemented.

What was the team composition?

At the initial contact phase, Project Manager addressed our requirements and technical specifications straight to the point with strategic design thinking, he was able to identify the most appropriate solution. Afterward, he introduced us to art-lead and UIUX designer who were creating designs, the PM was handling further communication with us. Responsible, proactive, and available at all times! Front-end development was implemented by our team of developers with assistance from the PM and UIUX designer.

The product easily reached 100K users within a week and keeps growing. The Qream team has delivered the designs according to our specifications with an outstanding creative input. Their focus on usability benefited in a high engagement rate.

The dedicated Project Manager walked us through every stage of the design process and was fantastic in both presenting each new deliverable and listening to our feedback.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

User-centered approach. For Qream user challenges and design accessibility are the main product design-drivers. They justify each usability step through smooth and efficient user flow. They test every idea from the users’ perspective and have strong attention to detail. Qream are strong communicators. Working remotely (in very difficult circumstances during February - April 2020), we always had a feeling the project is being driven with a speed of light as they kept us in the loop during each stage. In fact, even when we were holding things up our end with decisions and content, Qream design's approach was flawless.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We’re truly satisfied with the product design service received. Still, I wish the Qream team to improve the number of clients, so they can make more people happy!

Qream has helped us reduce the onboarding process for new clients from normally 2–3 meetings to accomplishing the same goal within an hour using the platform and technology for assistance. Overall, we’ve seen a 58% reduction in our onboarding process. We’ve also seen an increase in our total active subscribers and total enrolled clients.

They created a clean, modern design that highlights our services, then built the pages in Webflow to ensure it’s fully responsive and easy for us to manage. Marketing Pot started as our external consultant and later acted as CMO-as-a-service. They audited our team, campaigns, analyzed our marketing funnels, and developed a comprehensive strategy, prioritizing SEO and LinkedIn outreach, along with testing paid ads, CRO optimization, and lead nurturing. Within three months, our MQLs increased to 5-6 per month—and this is without increasing our marketing budget.

The fresh design allowed us to showcase our work more professionally, leading to more inbound inquiries from potential clients. The improved user experience and clear navigation helped users explore our services more easily, while the Webflow setup made it simple for our team to keep the site updated without technical help.

The project led to the significant increas in MQLs, the development of a solid marketing strategy, and the creation of dashboards that organized all data and documentation efficiently.

We needed a logo design for our EdTech platform.

Qream was responsible for developing the entire visual identity of our brand, starting with logo concept ideation and ending with finalized assets ready for production. The deliverables included the main logo, alternative logo versions (for small sizes and icons), color palette suggestions, and usage guidelines. The process also included several iterations and collaborative refinement to ensure the logo fit both our UX style and brand philosophy.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Working with Qream was a great experience. The designer quickly caught the vision behind our EdTech platform and translated it into a logo that felt both modern and meaningful. Their attention to detail and ability to capture subtle cues made the process fast and effective. We were genuinely proud of the result.

Our brand finally had a face — and it was a good-looking one. We received a logo we were genuinely proud of, and it immediately resonated with everyone on our team and early users. We heard 'wow, this is clean' more times than we could count. Both our team and early testers said the logo looked sharp, smart, and stood out in a crowded EdTech space.

The new logo significantly elevated how our brand was perceived — both internally and by early testers from our target audience (students, parents, and educators). It wasn't just a graphic mark — it was a strategic asset that visually reflected our core message: 'we turn complexity into clarity.' The pixel-based structure of the logo was a deliberate metaphor: from simple building blocks emerged something intelligent and complete — just like the educational journey our platform supported. This idea resonated deeply with our mission and communicated trust, precision, and modernity at a glance.

Early feedback included phrases like 'this looks intelligent,' 'feels like a product I can trust,' and 'I'd expect this from a global-level platform.' The logo also integrated seamlessly into our glassmorphism-inspired UX — it felt native, not imposed. That harmony between brand and interface was already helping us build emotional and cognitive credibility with users — before they even engaged with the content. In short, it wasn't just recognizable — it was ownable. It felt like us.

How did Qream perform from a project management standpoint?

Qream's project management was excellent. Everything was delivered on time, communication was clear throughout, and they were always responsive to our feedback and needs. The entire process felt structured yet flexible, which made collaboration smooth and productive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What impressed us most was Qream's ability to dive deep into the essence of our brand and translate abstract ideas into clear visual language. They didn't just deliver a design — they thought alongside us, challenged assumptions when needed, and came up with solutions that were both original and strategically sound. That kind of thinking partnership was rare, and it made a real difference.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Honestly, nothing came to mind. Qream delivered exactly what we needed — with clarity, speed, and a high level of engagement. At some points, it felt like they were reading our minds. If that wasn't creative telepathy, I didn't know what was. The process was smooth, thoughtful, and truly enjoyable from start to finish.

Without a doubt, I recommend Qream. They exceeded our expectations and made the entire process easy and inspiring. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for thoughtful, high-level design work.
