Sites by Sara has designed and developed my website. When we started, the team asked me questions about what I wanted and told me what we could do. Sites by Sara has given me options, and we've reviewed everything. The team has also created my logo, business cards, and a poster for me when I have book signings.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

When I go to writing conferences, numerous people have said they love my website because it's clean and easy to get around.

How did Sites by Sara perform from a project management standpoint?

Sites by Sara keeps me apprised of what's going on, meets deadlines, and stays within budget. We communicate via email, text, and Zoom calls. I've also met with Sarah directly several times.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I'm impressed by how much Sites by Sara delivers and exceeds expectations. The team is fantastic, and everything they've done for me has been spectacular. They have been highly supportive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there's anything Sites by Sara can improve on. I'm pleased with their services.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Tell Sites by Sara what you want and listen to their suggestions. The team has given me suggestions, and they've demonstrated that they care and are very professional. Sites by Sara makes me look good online.

Nope.  I was reallly happy.

I’m the president of Signet North America. We provide hazmat emergency response training for first responders and emergency personnel throughout North America.

What challenge were you trying to address with Sites by Sara?

We needed help with our website. It was outdated, and we had another company take a look at it, but they botched the whole thing.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Sites by Sara has provided both website redesign and redevelopment for Signet North America. Their team has completely overhauled our website, creating a brand new site with a whole slew of new features and designs. They’ve moved our site to WordPress and built it from the ground up.

Our former site couldn’t do this, but the new site has all of our courses listed by genre of response. Firefighters have a certain catalog that they can choose from, and we have open enrollment. Users can click on any of those areas and see the courses we offer that apply to those areas. Then, they can contact us directly to see if there’s availability or if we can come out and bring a class to them.

In addition to the website, they provide maintenance and hosting services.

What is the team composition?

We work with a web designer, a project manager, and, of course, Sara.

How did you come to work with Sites by Sara?

I found them through a Google search. I was looking at several companies, but everything kept leading me back to them. I was looking at their sites, and when I put in a request for more information, Sara contacted me within the hour. That really impressed me.

We were on the phone the next day, and Sara was very straightforward. It was clear that they weren’t a big corporation just checking boxes. She took it personally, and it was obvious that she was passionate about her work. Her passion drew me in.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $7,500.

What is the status of this engagement?

I initially contacted them in February 2024, but I didn’t start working with them until November 2024. The engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve had a number of hits directly from the website asking about certain classes, and it’s been very successful so far. We’re seeing that when people come to the site, they’re staying longer. We’re getting much more direct contact through the email links on the page.

From their SEO efforts, we’ve been getting inquiries about classes. People are able to find those classes through searches, and that’s leading them to our page. We haven’t even started marketing yet, but we’re getting great results.

How did Sites by Sara perform from a project management standpoint?

Sites by Sara does a great job with deadlines and stays within budget. They’re very conscious of the budget. We communicate via email, phone calls, Zoom, and Google Meet.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’ve been dealing with the same designer from day one. Sara and the project manager check in occasionally. It feels like a small business that legitimately cares about each individual person. We’ve had a great relationship with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’ve done such a great job for us, I’m not sure what they could be doing better right now.

Be clear about what you want and trust that they know how to do it. Let them guide the conversations, and they’ll take care of you.

I wanted to get more online exposure to attract new clients.

They helped me develop an online marketing campaign. I would write articles and Sara would edit them and add photos and graphics. We posted the articles on our social media sites and use them in email marketing. 

They also helped with SEO and developed my entire website.

I got more inquiries and many of those leads turned into paying clients. I get positive feedback on the website. It runs smoothly and looks great. 

How did Sites by Sara perform from a project management standpoint?

They were absolutely terrific. When they say they’re going to do something, they do it. Everything is completed within the timeline we established. 

We mostly communicate via phone and email. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Sara is the most creative person I’ve ever met. She understands my business and knows what is needed to attract new clients. She knows how to translate what I’m saying into good prose and website design.

There’s nothing I want them to improve.

Just have a conversation with them, and I think you’ll be convinced.

For what projects/services did your company hire Sites by Sara, and what were your goals?

I've had two notable projects: First, our web site was outdated and needed a total rebuild and modernization. The goal was to launch a web site that was easy to use, appealing, and described our products. Next, I was lamenting about problems with our email system using Microsoft Outlook. Sara suggested a change to G-Suite. We agreed and she took on the project of migrating domains and making the full setup.

SOLUTION

How did you select Sites by Sara and what were the deciding factors?

I have known Sara for years and she has worked on projects for us in the past. I trust her. She knows her stuff and she isn't shy about suggesting improvements where needed. Her suggestion to change to G-suite is a good example of this.

The scope was total. Sara consulted on my requirements and took on the projects in full. I do not know the technologies used but that's why I didn't do the work myself. My orientation is sales and not web technology. Sara had all the needed expertise.

I worked just with Sara although I am aware others on her team may have been involved too.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I am completely satisfied. I not only have a good branding site but it is now maintained by Sara's team. Now, I can focus on what I do best and not worry about keeping up with the technical side. I also have a very reliable emailing system that has more useful tools than I could ask for.

Sara and I had some in person discussions then mostly communicated via email or phone as needed. The important thing to note is that she doesn't need micromanagement.

They are very thoughtful and are good at drawing out the needs. They are creative with solutions and do a good job of reviewing them while keeping things at the layperson's level.

I cannot think of anything.
