BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

We have a small CPA and financial services firm in Hingham, MA. I am the managing partner.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Systems Support?

We are very technology dependent and cannot afford to be down, even for a day. We needed a system administrator that could proactively keep us running efficiently.

SOLUTION

How did you select Systems Support and what were the deciding factors?

We had experience with Systems Support in the past and knew them to be reliable and straightforward.

Describe the project in detail and walk through their service package.

We discussed our needs and the various cloud options that were available. The eventual solution was to have a private cloud managed by SSC. We are able to work from anywhere, have simplified our equipment replacement process and are able to recover any lost data, which rarely happens. Whenever issues arise, SSC can log in to our system or laptops and fix anything that comes up. They also optimize the virtual servers that we run on.

How many resources from the Systems Support team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We have worked with Brian, Will and Chris. They each are skilled and can resolve any problems we have.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our staff are able to work as easily from home or at a client as they are from the office.  The RDP environment gives everyone the same interface no matter where they log in from.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was straightforward and predictable.  We each prepared and executed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have a strong knowledge of their industry and partner with other firms that complement their business.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We haven't run into any issues that they weren't able to solve.
