We had ideas for the design, but TekRevol also brought their creativity. Their team created wireframes, essentially drawing the entire app on three sheets of paper. They built our platform from scratch, developing the platform for iOS and Android. Their team will also help us with our marketing strategy.

We work with a lead developer who directs a team from TekRevol. He runs the program on our side and delivers information from us to his team. We also communicate with Ryan (Partner) who provides great customer service.

I tweeted about my need for a development team, and multiple people responded. TekRevol was one of the first five companies that I communicated with. I saw their previous work on their website. It was modern, smooth, and clean. TekRevol was also new to the game, and I love giving people chances.

We started talking in October 2019, and we’re still working together.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We haven’t been disappointed. Working with them, it’s like we’re flying first-class on the best jet. They provide first-class customer service and results. 

Based on their work so far, I wouldn’t work with any company besides TekRevol. We absolutely trust them. Their team’s been incredible.

How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re better with deadlines than us. Their team's on top of their game. We never worry about getting in contact with them. The communication’s awesome. Even if they’re super busy, they’re willing to schedule a 30-minute meeting to go over the project. If their team encounters a challenge, they let us know.

What did you find most impressive about them?

TekRevol gives us their time, even when they’re swamped. Their team broke down the entire project to a level of detail that I’ve never seen before. They thought of tasks that I didn’t even consider. Their team’s particular and smooth.

I wrote my first book last year, and I decided I wanted to have an app that corresponded to it. I talked to my personal banker, and he recommended that if I begin to do different things, from book publishing to app development, I should set up my own company. I went ahead and established Ryan, Inc.

What was the scope of their involvement?

TekRevol is helping me with three projects right now. One project is toward the end stages, one is in the beginning–middle, and one is still in development.

The first project was for the app based on my book, The Points of Life. The idea is that while we often look at different metrics to see how companies are doing, we rarely take those same metrics and apply them to our lives. My book creates a scoring system to rate your relationships with family, friends, and acquaintances. Then, the app brings that to life. For instance, you can put your new boss into the app, which provides a base score. Then, you input your interactions, and the app creates a graph to show how the person fits into your life, such as whether they’re harmful or influential. The app breaks down your time and lets you know if you’re spending too much time with people who are taking from you, and not spending enough time with people who are giving to you.

The bigger project that we’re working on right now is a fitness-based social media platform that will be a one-stop-shop for gyms, trainers, people just getting into exercise, and fitness professionals. It will have a news feed, access to online training platforms, and more. Right now, the market is scattered all over the place, but there isn’t a one-stop-shop as far as a social network where you can go and share ideas, ask questions, and have links to everything.

I really trust TekRevol to tell me which platforms to launch on. They generally launch on one platform, do a beta test and a test flight, get some feedback, and then launch on both iOS and Android.

What is the team composition?

I have two point people: Ryan (Partner) and Azib (Senior QA Lead). They’ve put together as many as 5–10 people if we need to put a rush on something. I actually started with another app company, but they just weren’t getting the job done, so I brought in TekRevol as a consult to see what was going on. I ended up switching over to them, and they let me know that if we wanted to get up and running correctly, we’d need to have some more hands on deck. They definitely have the ability to shift as needed based on the work requirements.

My wife was aware of my frustrations with the initial company, and she recommended reaching out to Ryan, her cousin. I did some research and found that he’s a young guy who is really doing great stuff. I let him know that if he was interested in doing the consult for me, then maybe we could do some additional work together. I was so happy with the consult, and now, we have three different projects going on.

Our work together began around April 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The quality of their work has been top-notch. The fact that they could’ve taken my first product to market when it wasn’t quite ready but ultimately didn’t speaks a lot to that. I’d already beta-tested the product, and with the consult and shifting the work over to TekRevol, I just wanted to launch. However, they let me know that it wasn’t ready, and they talked me into a secondary beta test. After seeing the feedback from them, I saw that they were right. 

The easiest thing for them to do would’ve been to hit the button and launch, but they recognized that it wasn’t the best move for me. They stand behind the quality of their work. A lot of companies with less integrity would have just taken the money and launched it. They really give me direction on how to minimize our exposure and then also bring the best product to market.

How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate through whatever works best at the moment, whether that is a phone or video call, email, or text message. If we all need to get together and get updates, we jump on a Teams meeting.

At the beginning of a project, we sit down, and I lay out my goals and time frame. They’ve been really consistent about following through and achieving those goals and timeframes. They hit their goal the majority of the time, but if something unexpected comes up, they’ve been really good about communicating with me and being upfront.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

The level of communication distinguishes TekRevol. No matter how I communicated with the first company I engaged, whether it was verbally or over video or email, we just couldn’t get on the same page, whereas TekRevol is right there with me. They understand my goals and what direction I want to go in, and they put together a plan that matches what I’m thinking. 

Their ability to be on the same page as me has been amazing. When you’re trying to develop something like this, it’s just a raw, abstract idea. You can see the whole picture, but it’s challenging to communicate what’s in your mind to someone else. However, it’s been super easy with TekRevol. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’re still early into the relationship, and I’ve been super happy with everything to date. With any company, there are always areas for growth, but nothing stands out.

Any advice for potential customers?

Don’t be afraid to give them some freedom to expand on your ideas. Sometimes, we’re so set on what we want to bring to market; however, based on their experience and fluency in the market, they’re going to have some ideas that you might not have thought of. They’re in it for your best interest, so be open-minded.

What challenge were you trying to address with TekRevol?

I’m responsible for getting more leads on board, and to do so, we often look for new opportunities to grow the business. That’s why I reached out to TekRevol.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially started off with website development. We already had a WordPress website up and running, but there were some issues that our production team couldn’t take care of. Our problem was that we weren’t getting enough leads because of the site’s technical issues, so TekRevol went through the site and did in-depth research on what was wrong and what could be done differently.

We’re currently working on developing a module through which users can create their own videos. This will enable our customers to use custom presets and upload their videos, edit them, add background music, and add other transitions and effects, ultimately creating a video for themselves. The portal is custom-built with PHP and other backend software.

What is the team composition?

There have been project managers working with us. Sometimes, I also get to speak with the production team. I’ve been in close contact with Asim (Founding Partner & CTO) and Abeer (Founding Partner & CMO). I’ve spoken to Abeer about the marketing aspect of the platform, how we can scale it, and how we can add value to the software to potentially get more leads when we have the product up and running. 

How did you come to work with TekRevol?

I searched for mobile application, software, and website development companies. I came across a lot of companies, and TekRevol’s profile and CR were amazing. I checked their reviews, and people had good stuff to say about them. I had a chance to speak with one of their representatives, and then I was connected with Abeer. His vision was exemplary and connected directly to what I was thinking, and that really helped me make my decision to work with TekRevol.

We’ve spent somewhere in the range of $50,000–$70,000. This includes both the website development as well as the software development that we’re currently working on.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working with them since November 2019. We’re currently in the stage of finalizing the product and pushing it live. Most of it is almost ready.

I’ve seen some major uplift in the overall website. The functionality is working perfectly fine. They’re pros at attention to detail. The other things that I really like about working with them are their commitment and ideas. They don’t just take the project and deliver what we tell them to; they put in extra effort to understand the project, the purpose, and the goals. 

Throughout the process, we have had a lot of discussions. Since I’m the marketing manager and have a certain skill set, it’s always helpful to have Abeer guiding me and leading brainstorming sessions on how we can scale this product and overcome the limitations. Their marketing and product knowledge is exceptional and has been really helpful to me.

We use various project management tools and communicate through calls and emails. They send me project files separately. They’ve been amazing on the project management side of it. They’re always available. We have long calls, and they never hesitate to end the discussion or cut it short. They have been helpful in that aspect. As far as the deadlines go, they’ve always managed to achieve them. My experience overall has been amazing.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their product knowledge makes them stand out. Their ability to get into the details and understand the purpose, the goals, and what the customer is asking for is amazing. That isn’t something I found while speaking with other companies, whose focus was mainly on delivering what I asked for. TekRevol provides amazing creative ideas. They have really helped me to shape my product. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

In my case, they’ve been exceptional, so I can’t think of something that could add value to what they do. They have the right skillsets to deliver good quality mobile apps, software development, or website development.

I’m starting up a company called Letice, which is a social media network for investors. Anyone from a rookie trader or a day trader to an accredited investor, angel investor, or VC, you can enter and discuss stocks, options, tickers, and IPOs with your peers. It takes a social approach to the stock market. I’m the founder and CEO.

What challenge were you trying to address with TekRevol?

Most people pay subscription fees for stock recommendations, but I want people to be able to connect with others and come up with stock picks for free. The more people you get to work together, the better the data resulting from that will be, and the better decisions people will make.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I already had my business name, LLC, and logo, as well as several drawings of a potential layout. I also knew I wanted to use current technology like machine learning. They were trying to stay innovative and ahead of the game as well, especially with blockchain and cryptocurrency.

As far as the backend, that’s TekRevol’s area of expertise. I know what kind of messaging I want people to be able to have and what features they should have access to, but TekRevol figures out how to do it. They recommend pieces of technology and software to get things working.

We’ve been working with 4-5 people.

How did you come to work with TekRevol?

I started searching for developers on Clutch and listed out my top 20. After going through the pros and cons and asking my friends for their opinions I chose TekRevol. I liked that they were a younger company. I told them I was unfamiliar with this space so I wanted a developer that was willing to grow alongside me and mentor me a little bit.

We’ve spent $5,000 so far but by the time we’re done, it will be around $50,000. Hopefully, they’ll help me get some funding as well.

Because of their global footprint and their numerous locations in the United States, they can use their network to help your app scale. After the app is done, they won’t just disappear. They’ll help you promote it and market it.

How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been amazing, and from what I’ve heard from other people who’ve done projects with other vendors, TekRevol is very hands-on and connected. They’re by my side if I ever need anything, and I always feel like a priority. It’s a really caring business that cares about its clients. I’ve never been left in the dark.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They also help you identify your target market and figure out how to capture their attention. They’ve definitely helped me wrap my mind around how I’m going to monetize the application. We’re still working on the prototype but I’m happy with the look and feel. They understood me right away.

They’re always evolving and honest. Every day it seems like they’re improving in some area of their business. Since I’ve started with them they’ve even begun a podcast that tells people what to focus on in their projects and what to expect.

Even if your business idea is written on a napkin, give TekRevol a call and let them work their magic. You may have a million-dollar idea in your head and just need their expertise to turn your vision into reality. They helped me realize my idea was feasible.

I’m the CEO of an auto safety app.

What challenge were you trying to address with TekRevol?

I wanted to have the right people develop my app. I wanted to bring my vision to life exactly the way I wanted it, and I needed a team that would believe in my project.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The app protects users in case they experience a car accident. In the event of a collision, it sends an automated text to a loved one, puts a pin on the user’s location, and notifies three closest hospitals about the accident. TekRevol built the app, integrated Google Maps, and designed its logo along with each page. They gave me hundreds of logos to narrow how I like the look, feel, and flow of the app. We came up with the color scheme together. 

What is the team composition?

I work with a project manager and a team of developers. I’ve also had some contact with the co-founder quite a bit throughout the project so he could oversee everything.

How did you come to work with TekRevol?

I put out a call on basic social media to find an app development company. I got a lot of responses and created a prioritized list of companies to reach out to. After we talked with TekRevol a couple of different times, based on the relationship we built, it made sense to go with them.

I’ve spent about $23,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in August 2019 and is ongoing. We’re almost done; there are two groups testing the beta version and giving feedback so we can make more changes.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The quality is there in their work. There were some small features — such as setting up a user profile — that caused confusion in our user feedback, but that was a super easy fix. We’ve gotten a lot of good feedback. TekRevol has delivered pretty much everything I wanted. They even gave suggestions, which was the main reason why the relationship was so good. Also, having seen their work for their other clients, I feel good knowing that we’re working with a professional team.

How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?

Things can go wrong in every project and business. Our original project manager had to leave, and there was some miscommunication between him and my current project manager. That got me really upset. We had a conversation over the phone and I expressed I felt. He understood, but it was a bump in the road.

After that conversation, I talked with the co-founder. He apologized, took responsibility, and promised a fresh start. From there, it’s been smooth sailing. The trust is there now. We still have a good relationship, especially because of how well they handled everything. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I saw Abeer (Founding Partner and CMO) on the news telling his story about being a young app development entrepreneur, which I thought was amazing. what really sets them apart is that they like doing applications that help society. That fit perfectly with my app and led to a satisfying relationship.

If you have to change project managers, there has to be clear communication with the client.

The client needs to communicate their needs and vision clearly so that there’s no confusion in the project.

I am the founder and CEO of Picture Pick, a digital ad platform that takes the form of a digital sweepstakes.

What challenge were you trying to address with TekRevol?

I had an idea for a business and knew that I wanted it to take the form of an app. I’m not a tech guy, so I hired TekRevol to create the app for me. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement? 

TekRevol built a native app for both Android and iOS. The app is a free-to-play, free-to-download sweepstakes game.

It's essentially a lottery app. Out of 60 available images or videos, the user picks six. We then have three drawings a week, picking six winning images. If the user's choices match the images, then they win the grand prize.

What is the team composition? 

I initially met with a salesperson, Chris (Managing Director, TekRevol), who also happened to be one of the founders of the company. That was nice because I could pick up the phone and bring him into the conversation on anything.

I worked together with other TekRevol members throughout the process. For instance, I conversed a lot more with the developers as we came closer to launching the app.

How did you come to work with TekRevol?

TekRevol reached out to me via Facebook. I'm not 100% sure how they ended up reaching out to me, but they likely found me based on some app development questions that I posted.

How much have you invested with them?

The investment was about $30,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

I worked with them from November 2018–March 2019. The project was a bit late, not because of any technical issues, but because Apple and Google had questions before they would upload us to their stores.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our app has an average of about four stars, and we’re quite content. When we launched at the end of March 2019, there was a hiccup or two but nothing major.

We have just under 12,000 downloads right now. People seem to be relatively happy with the app so far, which is the main thing I cared about. It's been great because we haven’t advertised much, and the downloads have all come from word-of-mouth.

How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?

They put together a neat little package for me, listing out all the deliverables and what they were going to do. Then, they would give me a document to bring me up to speed on what they did and what the next milestone would be.

We mainly communicated through a project management tool. I could log in, create a timeline, and talk with them.

Anytime there was an issue, they were very quick to jump in, take control, and address the problem swiftly and professionally. This approach stopped any issues from becoming serious because they handled everything within a reasonable amount of time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

TekRevol handled all issues in a way that other firms would or could not. Rather than having to prove to them that there was an issue, they were always flexible anytime I highlighted a challenge. They would fix problems before they became issues in my customers' minds.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not really. Even though I’m a very demanding person and a difficult taskmaster, they worked well with me. You can never expect zero mistakes, hiccups, or issues—that’s completely unreasonable. The measure of a company is how they handle these things.

I hired Tek Revol to develop our website and create a lease calculator as well as connect a robust API that would display over 2000+ vehicle images on the site.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to create the first online auto leasing marketplace and it was a difficult project because at the time, there were no other sites like it. It was a very detail oriented project and required a ton of planning and creativity to develop.

How did you select this vendor?

After doing a ton of research and interviewing many companies both on shore and off, we decided that Tek Revol was the best fit due to their knowledge, professionalism and pricing.

The designed configured and launched a new website for us. The project was broken into 5 milestones with a strict deadline for each milestone that they continued to meet every step of the way. After the launch they always made sure to continue testing and fixing any bugs or minor changes that were needed based on user experience.

TekRevol redesigned and developed a website from scratch for a client in the auto industry, incorporating new branding and functionality as requested. TekRevol also incorporated the client’s training platform into the website redesign for enhanced user functionality.

I worked with one of the owners of the company initially, as well as two project managers and a team of designers assigned to the project.

I posted the job on LinkedIn and interviewed a handful of vendors. After meeting with TekRevol, I liked that they seemed very hands-on and offered a broad range of services. TekRevol delivered a high-quality, well-designed website that's been very well received by our client. In addition to being more user-friendly than their previous site, the new design has helped the client attract more customers while offering addition features to visitors.

They performed very well. They were flexible and professional throughout the process, responding to our questions and requests extremely quickly. They put the customer first and made it feel as if we were a top priority.

I’m a tech enthusiast and entrepreneur. My company name is HARKAT TECHNOLOGIES, and its first product is currently live in a beta phase.

I’ve been struggling for the last three years to find a competitive team to work on my project, as it involves both hardware and software development. One of the main requirements is to create the whole architecture without 3rd-party APIs, so we had to make our own solution.

TekRevol provided every support I can think of, from development (process flows, admin panel, core system, and algorithms) and design to consulting on optimizations and testing. The app has an e-wallet that allows users to recharge any mobile number on any carrier while earning a 1% commission.

We worked with PHP developers, .NET developers, and mobile app developers, a design team and a content writing team, and several project managers, SST resources, and QA teammates.

The project is up and running in the beta phase. We have about 50+ people regularly using our platform. I'm glad I found TekRevol. They helped me complete my product and are still working on the next phase.

I’m the founder of Button Smasher LLC, a video game reviews platform. I needed the platform to appeal to a wide-ranging age demographic.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I road mapped and flowcharted the concept of what I wanted and presented this to TekRevol. They developed a native mobile app, which included proprietary features and functionalities that we’ve had patented. They made the app available on the web, the Apple Store, and Google Play. They built algorithms for the backend and made the backend dashboard accessible across all platforms. The team developed certain mobile-only functionalities, such as a swiping feature. TekRevol designed the UI/UX. They also developed my website and provided some marketing services. They recently completed a server migration.

What is the team composition?

I work closely with a project manager and primary point of contact, Josh (Marketing Manager, TekRevol). During development, TekRevol provided different managers for each module that we were building. I also engage with Asim (Co-Founder and CTO, TekRevol) and Abeer (Co-Founder, TekRevol).

TekRevol responded to one of my LinkedIn posts. I was in contact with a few other developers, but some were too costly while others couldn’t deliver on the grand scale of what I needed. TekRevol is reactive to issues we experience or changes that I want to make. They do everything they can to make our collaboration work.
