We wanted design resources to work with us onsite to build our e-commerce platform.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Whatever they designed didn’t see the light of the day. But yes, the help they provided in terms of visual design and also in research was very good & quite extensive. So, it really helped us take the second version of the website to the next level.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

We were just talking to the designers and they were good. They were doing what was required. They were on-site. We were happy. The co-founders were active and always ready to help, especially Kishor.

What was your primary form of communication with Yellow Slice?

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Yes, you can say that communication is one point. Also, Kishor, despite being a CEO, was always available whenever we wanted help, and even Sunny. I never got a chance to take advantage of Sunny’s skills but I really admired his UX skills.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Yellow Slice could have done differently?

I think Sunny should have been more available in terms of solving problems. I think he should have been more in touch with the guys (the designers) who were there in terms of knowing what they’re doing, in terms of solving if they face any problems. Also taking the feedback from me in between of the project would have been beneficial to both parties. I think they could’ve been more alert in that.

Project took longer than expected but end result was good.

Meeting notes, final handoff did not capture everything that was discussed. Figma files that were being used during the demos and progress meetings were different from the final handoff files. This led to several gaps where the final files did not have what was shown earlier.
