After the kickoff meeting, we started by restructuring the account to align with best practices, revised key ad groups and ad copy, and cut some high-spending keywords that were not positively contributing to ROI. Month-over-month, we would continue to optimize and test new areas such as new keywords, new ad copy, new asset promotion, and landing pages.

They also were very diligent in adding negative keywords or adjusting keywords as necessary to avoid unwanted traffic and wasted spend. KlientBoost also recommended additional PPC platforms that were relevant to our business.

We had an account manager who handled the day-to-day communication and management, but we also worked with the landing page designers often.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We established benchmarks for cost-per-lead through the PPC channel as a whole. Over time, the optimizations and tests conducted through KlientBoost reduced our CPL and made our investments more efficient. I can't remember exactly by how much (I've been out of the role for about a year), but I want to say it was at least by 50%.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The KlientBoost team was extremely pleasant to work with. They weren't afraid to bounce ideas off of each other and provide their expertise without sounding condescending or saying "no, we can't do that". They always had a way to make things work, and we trusted that they would handle our account with care, treating it as if it was their own advertising dollars. They were very responsive, and when there was a switch in our account managers, it was hardly noticeable.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Not only were the results outstanding, but our methodologies aligned so well. I was confident that they followed best practices and had a tight reign on unwanted activity in the account.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There's almost nothing I would say that needed improvement. Any time there was an issue such as a misspelling in an ad, it was caught and remedied right away. So, I guess if anything, just expectation setting to prioritize accuracy over speed to launch.

WIthin a relatively short period of time, our CPA dropped in half, which was badly needed and two other agencies were unable to do. That was a huge win for all of us.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Excellent. They are very responsive and care. Not a pretend care, but a real care. They are not perfect, but they really do try to nail it, which is a great attribue to have on your team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their corporate culture of caring and trying to do their best is impressive. They do not shirk responsibility, they own up to issues and they really do try hard to do the best that they can. That is rare. And even if everything does not go according to plan, they keep trying and work on new strategies. And when things do go well, they work on new strategies to improve even more. I liked that a lot.

That is a silly question, we all have room for improvement.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We saw the number of leads we generated nearly double in the first two months of working with KlientBoost - granted we did also increase our marketing budget significantly during this time too. However, they were also able to lower our total CPA as well by diving into new markets & channels that we weren't previously advertising in.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The account manager always kept us informed on project progress and performance. He was incredibly responsive to all questions, over both the phone and email. We weren't looking for an agency that would ask for "approval" for every single ad, so we really appreciated their workflow, speed to test new concepts, and then keeping us informed on results.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their results-driven performance and attention to detail impressed me most! They looked at our analytics throughout our customer acquisition funnel, not just the top of funnel where their primary advertising focus was.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Everything can be improved in some way... If I had a request it would hav been that we could choose a designer on their team from the beginning, or see more mockups at the beginning. We weren't impressed with the very initial designs, but KlientBoost quickly resolved this by placing a new designer on the account.

We've seen a measurable improvement in our key performance metrics including an increase in return on ad spend and a reduction in the cost of customer acquisition.

The workflow is good. They use a site called Asana to manage our campaign activities. We use Google Drive for file sharing, email for daily communications, and Google meets or Zoom for bi-weekly video conferences.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their team is professional and responsive but most importantly they care about our business. They go out of their way to deliver a high-quality product that exceeds expectations.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We'd really like to see continued improvement in the performance of our ad campaigns. We've made great progress so far, but we haven't been able to get our ads to convert at a rate that allows us to scale for the kind of growth we need.

The scope of the project was to increase traffic to our website, increase brand awareness, develop a customer acquisition strategy, and execute on that. They began with a deep dive into all of our existing assets and learning about our product and audience. We provided some of the creative assets that we had and they used these as a baseline but greatly improved on numerous aspects. They developed landing pages, dynamic ads, custom campaigns, videos as well as providing blog and SEO advice.

We communicated with our account manager who was responsible for all of the strategy and ads we were running as well as our designer who developed all of the creative and copy.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our traffic went from a few leads early in the year to sometimes hundreds of high-quality leads per day. The honed in on the correct audiences which are not always easy to target and exceeded our expectations in terms of the pace of results.

We have a great relationship. We speak once a week for a catchup call over google hangouts and multiple times a week over email. They were always available by phone in case we wanted to change things midway through the week and were super responsive to all of our questions and requests. They make an effort to really get to know you so the calls are significantly more pleasant than an ordinary business meeting.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was really impressed by how they really took the time to understand our product and audience and how they really listened to us. We are in a particularly niche market and it's not easy for most vendors to really understand the mission of our company.

How did you select this vendor?

We were directed to KB’s SKAG articles and employed that strategy to our early ad campaigns. After some early success, we decided to engage KB for more hands-on help.

The project has been multi-faced and thorough. On the PPC side, we started by assessing our existing PPC ad campaigns and improving upon them. We dialed-in our data analytics tracking systems and then implemented new landing pages with targeted ad campaigns, as well as tested new ad structures. We continuously monitor spend on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and adjust course as necessary.

On the SEO side, KB did a full audit of our exisiting SEO and then suggested SEO and website changes which we are now implementing. We launched a blog and are writing and posting blog content on a weekly basis. KB also helped us launch an outbound marketing campaign.

Team is composed of an account manager and designer on the PPC side, and a director/account manager plus a few writers on the SEO side. The size of the team has slightly fluctuated as our needs have grown. KB willingly pulls in additional resources on their end as needed.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our project is still ongoing and growing, but so far we have increased our PPC clicks by 58% and CTR by 28%. We launched the blog with weekly posts, which is already starting to increase organic traffic.

Our optimized site structure has also increased conversion rates and decreased bounce rates. These results are in line with our initial goals, though we are still in the progress and are continuing to work toward those goals.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication has been consistent and helpful. We meet weekly for PPC related items and monthly for SEO. They consistently use data to drive decision making and goal setting. Their team is proactive in identifying issues and suggesting solutions, and always confirms with us before making changes. They are very receptive to our input and do a great job of explaining why they do the things they do.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are responsive, reliable, and transparent in their communication. Their breadth of knowledge in the field is invaluable as well.

We are already working to synchronize our PPC and SEO efforts, and we think the team is overall doing a great job.

Our goals were to increase ad sales by 15% each month initially without increasing budget.As we have continued to work with them over the past year we have adjusted our goals to match needs of the company and economic climate at various times.

We interviewed several agencies over the course of a few months by having several conversations, reading through whitepapers and speaking with various references. We chose Klientboost because they had a very impressive team, a clear path to achieve our goals and a track record proven through their references and whitepapers. Price was also a larger consideration. Klientboost's pricing came in around the middle of the pack, but we felt they were a great fit and decided to move forward.

While the start was a little shaky as we launch new campaigns, working with Klientboost has been a great success. We have achieved our goals of increasing ROAS and ad revenue by 15%. Recently, we have seen a large uptick in demand and Klientboost has been very helpful there by deploying additional ads and managing a much larger advertising budget.

We have standing weekly meeting where we review how our accounts have performed, where the successes and failures were and what adjustments can be made to improve. In addition, we have started using Asana to keep everyone on the same page about ad creation (our side) and implementation (their side) as well as track what is needed for google optimize.

We greatly appreciate the dialogue between Bobby and our team. It allows us to stay agile while still working with an outside entity. Bobby is very responsive to our emails, requests for changes in ads, etc. They definitely feel like they blur the line between being an agency and part of the team.

Expertise ran deep in the company. Often you will be sold by the owner or the business dev person to then have lackluster performance but the folks managing your account. This was not the case with KlientBoost.

Before KlientBoost, we had never done any sort of PPC or had much of an online presence. We did as much research as possible before diving headfirst into a partnership with KlientBoost. We looked at competitors, individuals providing similar services, and even started learning about PPC and SEO ourselves so that we may keep it in-house. However, the knowledge, transparency and honesty, and quality of work we saw when we spoke to them blew us away. Looking back, all of the research we did truly helped us see what a gem KlientBoost is.

KlientBoost worked on the company's PPC account before I had to stop for personal reasons. Our account manager's work was incredible. His knowledge and expertise on the subject matter was top tier. From targeting specific areas to placing specific keyword bids, Mitchell was an incredible asset.

We had one account manager in Mitchell. He was so professional and the ultimate "no b.s." manager. He didn't tell us what we wanted to hear, he told us what was actually going on and that's so vital in a work relationship. He did a phenomenal job with the account.

It would be easy for me to say that we now have a positive ROI since we first started working with KlientBoost. While that’s true, it’s been incredible to see how many people have found us while looking for a competitor’s services. Being able to progressively take a bigger slice out of our market share has been unbelievable.

Incredible. Mitchell, who was our account manager, was always on top of his workload and if we ever had any concerns he was always quick to reply with an explanation as to why we shouldn't be worried. He was on point every time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The fact that they seem to enjoy what they do. They're a no b.s. company and hopefully they keep it that way. Their input is so valuable and their knowledge of all things online marketing related is incredible.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They do so much right that it's hard to find a flaw with how they do business. Their managers are straightforward with their work and changes they make. If there's any improvement that could've been made it was from my end in communication.
