After meeting with multiple agencies, we decided on KB because of their dedication to meeting our KPIs and the knowledge they proved to be able to bring to our team.

KB was brought in to scale our paid social efforts. It began with DPA ads using different product catalogs on Facebook with an eventual expansion into ads catering to each stage of the funnel. Our ROAS was initially low and we had a goal to reach an overall 6. KB has successfully helped us achieve this and are continuing to tweak strategies to raise the ROAS each week.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

KB has successfully raised our return on ad spend to our overall target of 6 and helped solidify our funnels on social media.

The workflow was efficient. We were given direct access to an Asana dashboard where we could have access to what was being done with our account at all times. Communication was great and they were always quick to respond. If there was a concern, the Director of Client Success was quick to pivot things to ensure our goals were met.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We are most impressed with their dedication to seeing our ads succeed and are continuously improving to meet our goals.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In the first few months, we didn't feel the efforts were moving toward our target goals. When we expressed this concern, they were quick to make adjustments and add team members to our account that ensured our success.

Our firm already had Google Ads in place previously, and Klientboost were able to take our goals of increasing mql and sqls and created a variety of ads to be run under a budget. They also established a campaign to redirect traffic and establish leads who access our guide page. They use google analytics and Hubspot to provide reporting.

Elisha is our account manager, and Alexandra was previously our copywriter. We also have Phil as a designer/strategist, and Kelvin, CRO Designer.

Not only did the team achieve the results we requested, but with a slight increase in spend they doubled our conversions.

The team was very responsive, and replied within a day to our emails. We had biweekly calls for updates, results, and to solidify and go over any new copy/goals/projects.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The communication was very easy. The team understood trends and developed innovative campaign ideas. We could trust in the process, as it was very streamlined.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

One of our projects was rushed, and needed to be fleshed out before launching. Communication was there, it just needed time to be ironed out.

KlientBoost handled our creative asset refresh and was prompt on deadlines. Most recently, we have started running a split lead gen campaign to find both D2C and B2B leads.

I spend the most one-on-one time with our fantastic account manager, who fields questions, feedback, and updates from the larger team. I also receive updates from all members of the team in a weekly communication.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our D2C newsletter subscriber list has increased nearly 50% over 5 months of working with KlientBoost to establish and refine an effective lead generation campaign. Of those new D2C subscribers, about 4% went on to convert to paid bootcamp attendees (with a test run of new, bootcamp-only ads).

As we continue to refine the D2C strategy, we are also in the process of building other, brand new lead generation campaigns to increase our B2B business.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It has been very efficient. I have bi-weekly meetings with our account manager and receive a weekly update from all team members. We are able to keep this meeting cadence because everyone on the team is extremely responsive to email.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are all enthusiastic about the company's brand and love digging into the research around what we do! I am consistently impressed by the extra work they do to connect trends and audience groups to our mission.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

They are great at keeping communication minimal but informative and clear -- which means it's easy to go a few months at a time without talking to everyone on the team. This likely works very well for a lot of clients who are extremely busy. However, I realized it's great for my team to speak with other KlientBoost team members from time to time to hear more about their insights. We have a call with my Data Director later this week!

Emil was our main account manager and point of contact. He had other team members as well but I didnt interface with them as much.

Absolutely. Since working with Emil and Klientboost, our traffic has increased significantly. We have much more targeted key words and far better conversion rates.

Emil has always been fantastic on email and used awesome dashboards and other online tools to clearly communicate our progress. He's always been incredibly timely and responsive in all ways.

For the SEO portion of the project, Klientboost outlined a 6 month process that included the following

• Initial onboarding
• Website analysis
• Technical website audit and recommendations
• Development of strategy and monthly deliverables which consisted of optimized content and backlinks
• Content calendar developed using strategy
• On going monthly deliverables (4 content pieces per month)

For SEM portion of the project, Klientboost outlined the below project scope:

• PPC onboarding and setup within Google Ads account

We currently have worked with a team of five team members directly (although I'm sure there is a larger support staff behind them). This primary team consists of:

• One account manager who coordinates the strategy and holds regular meetings.
• One SEO technical expert who analyzed and offers insights in how to improve the technical aspects of our company website.
• One SEO content expert who coordinates the content briefs and creation of the monthly content deliverables.
• Two PPC experts (one recently left the company so we were assigned a new one) who set up and manage PPC campaigns.
• One landing page expert who coordinated the development of a PPC-specific landing page.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Since implementing the SEO and SEM strategies. We have started to see an increase in inbound organic traffic, a rise on certain terms on SERPs and and increase in inbound leads from PPC campaigns.

We have regular meetings (initially weekly, now bi-weekly), QBRs once a quarter, and easy and frequent communication using Slack to communicate and Asana to manage aspects of the project.

They have a very organized project strategy. They're diligent in communicating with us with updates and suggestions for their strategies.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Some of the initial onboarding like the landing page required more back and forth and was more templated than I would have preferred, but no major issues that require improvement so far.

After a referral, I decided to do a bit of research and ended up in a couple of meetings with them. They seemed to have the ideas and plan clear.

We started with a discovery phase where they took over the account, selected the best KW for each service, and created the ad structure. Then, they implemented some optimizations based on performance and launched other campaigns to have benchmark ready for our in-house team.

They assigned the project to a project manager which I was in direct communication during meetings and a Google account manager which I had direct communication via Slack.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

This was a kickstarting project and our goal was to achieve 1:1 ROA. This was not reached but the whole situation of the account improved considerably (even we kickstarted the account there were a couple of ads with low performance that showed this clearly).

They used generally Slack as we do not communicate via Email in our company. Also had an Asana project set up and worked with a Google Doc to review copy and others. We also had a biweekly meeting with the account manager to revise performance and expectations.

They seem young and willing to test while also having good experience and background. I liked their fresh and direct approach to each task.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I know is an agency so this is not related only to them, but one of the reasons we always looked for an in-house member is the dedication and the speed. Again, this is not specific to Klientboost.

KlienBoost took control of our Google and Facebook accounts, outlining short and long term priorities for changes we should make to improve our performance. Two primary resources - a project manager and a campaign manager. There was one additional resource available if anything required additional review or support.

Our Facebook campaigns have improved significantly and we are continuing to put more budget behind those. Our Google campaigns are continuing to improve week over week as well, with our CPA decreasing steadily.

Very effective - we collaborate over Asana and email.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They provided a team that was capable of handling both our Google and Facebook needs, allowing us to work with a singular agency for all of our advertising needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think it would be great to have more data analytics support from KB's team, to help us ensure that our conversion tracking is at 100%, as this is a big driver in our ad performance.

What challenge were you trying to address with KlientBoost?

We needed to simultaneously scale our digital advertising budget and expand our channels for social search and display.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, KlientBoost asked for access to all of our primary platforms and analytics. These platforms included Google Analytics, Facebook, Microsoft, and Google Ads. They also asked us for Google Tag Manager. At that point, they did an audit of our progress. 

The team then set up an introduction call to talk through their findings and verify them. From there, we did a follow-up call to go into the specifics of the strategy; we talked about the timeline of implementation and the areas of business we’d be focusing on first. 

After that, we moved into executing the campaigns. The KlientBoost team took one of our main business units and simultaneously deployed campaigns across social display and paid channels. 

What is the team composition?

We directly worked with three primary contacts. They used additional resources internally; there was also a fourth resource assigned to us.

How did you come to work with KlientBoost?

We chose to work with KlientBoost because they were extremely approachable and transparent about how they assess and run campaigns. The team was performance-oriented in everything they did; all of their work was relevant to producing leads. Moreover, their resources were conscientious and truly interested in the intricacies of our business. 

On top of that, their pricing model was extremely affordable for how many dedicated resources they’d provide for us. We also had a change in leadership in the middle of our vendor selection process. As a result, we had to put the brakes, and they had to reposition themselves based on the new leadership — they did amazingly well. Ultimately, they won us over because of their strategic approach and their personality as a team.

How much have you invested with them?

As of December 2021, they’ve managed up to $150,000 in digital ad spend for my former company. They’ve also charged a 10% management fee 

What is the status of this engagement?

The start date of the contract was in October 2021, and their engagement with my former company is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

With KlientBoost’s help, we reduced our campaign production time by 30%. We also saw an increase in landing page conversion rates, while our cost per acquisition decreased by 40%. These results were instant and happened right out of the gate; we didn’t have to wait for them to ramp up their efforts just to see improvements. 

How did KlientBoost perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management was phenomenal. The KlientBoost team had to deal with two separate changes in stakeholders, which also changed their responsibilities and primary point of contact. Despite those things, they performed incredibly well.

In terms of communication, we had five weekly status calls. We also had a Slack channel, their resources were highly responsive. Our teams also had some communication over email. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

KlientBoost was highly creative in their strategies. They didn’t use any cookie-cutter solutions. Instead, they took their time to figure out exactly what our business was and came up with creative ideas on how to solve our challenges.  

Apart from that, their pricing model transparency was also impressive. There wasn’t any complex negotiation, which was fantastic. 

Moreover, the sales representative that we initially worked with wasn’t just a salesperson; he also understood digital advertising strategies. He even workshopped with us to help us know if we could work well together. Overall, he was knowledgeable and awesome. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I wasn’t initially impressed with KlientBoost’s branding; they didn’t look as skilled and knowledgeable as they truly were because they looked a bit unprofessional. Their branding was bubbly, and our new CMO at that time had a strong negative response to it. 

That said, this was the only time we weren’t impressed with them, and they’d since adjusted their presentations to address our sentiments. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Let KlientBoost run with the project. Give them the keys, and let them go.  Don’t get in their way.

I had actually hired and worked with KlientBoost at a previous company and saw a lot of success. They were the first people I called when I was looking to hire another agency!

Upon onboarding, KlientBoost made it a priority to truly learn and understand our product and key objectives. They now handle daily maintenance of our Google Search ads and YouTube ads, including any keyword research, bid adjustments, campaign expansion, remarketing, etc. They also have built and A/B tested landing pages for us and advised on strategy for our Google and YouTube ads.

Since KlientBoost started optimizing our search ads, we've seen a 64% increase in CTR, 229% increase in search impression share, and 11% decrease in CPA!

The KlientBoost team is incredibly organized and communicative. While we do have regular meetings to touch base on KPIs and goals, they also are great about email communication and proactively updating their Asana board.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Unlike agencies that offer cookie-cutter solutions, KlientBoost acts like an extension of our marketing team. Taking the time to truly understand our business and objectives from the start has paid off tenfold, as they now proactively offer ideas and solutions that would help us hit our strategic business initiatives.
