I hired TekRevol for a project of mine which was a price comparison application that I wanted to develop. I wanted to develop something that allowed consumers to compare prices for a specific product from multiple sellers, in order to find the best deal.

Users can search for a product, view prices from different sellers, and purchase the item from the seller offering the lowest price. This type of app can help consumers save money and find the best deals on the products they want to buy.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

While searching for the best mobile application development companies in the UAE, I came across TekRevol on top of the search results on Google. They business development team who were in touch with me were quiet prompt and professional in understanding my requirements and guiding me the way forward.

I was impressed with their portfolio and the clutch review they had, hence decided to go forward with them.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The project had around 5/6 phases out of which we have completed around 60% phases, it started of with the project discovery and mobilization that had all the documentation and finalization of scope of work.

After which we had the design phase and then the alpha phase where the complete look n feel of the application, user journey and flows are completed. The project is currently in development after which we will have the QA and deployment of the application on the app stores.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have completed most of the project which is in development and final stages. The application includes a Price Comparison module. Via this application, users can search and compare a specific product across multiple retailers and stores. In that way, they can find the best deals for their purchases.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The communication and workflow was very productive, we have a weekly recurring meeting for project ubpates, I am added to their project management tool where I can see my progress as well. We had to add more features initially for which the account manager and project manager helped me out to finalize the final SOW.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive thing about TekRevol would be the diversity of knowledge each resource brings in to the table, their understanding of my needs and their teamwork.

One more quality of theirs which is great because they don’t sit back and wait on us. Instead, they bring their own ideas to the table and collectively work through those ideas to create the best designs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I don’t think they could improve on anything. It’s hard seeing them do anything better because they’ve exceeded our expectations in most areas.

I needed someone to develop my application for me.

What was the scope of their involvement?

TekRevol is developing my mobile app and connecting it with other devices using Bluetooth. Initially, they laid the project down on a defined schedule to address the scope step by step. We’ve been following that plan; every time I approve a deliverable, we move forward with the next step.

Among its core features, our app integrates with a map so that users can see where available parking spots are. If users are near the parking lot they identify, they can reserve a parking spot before they get there so that they don’t waste time looking for one. Once they get to the spot, they can check in on their arrival and park there as long as they need.

Currently, we’re working on a device prototype internally, while TekRevol is working on the app’s backend development. Once we finish the prototype, we’ll send it to their team. Although this app hasn’t been launched yet, it’ll be available for iOS and Android.

I found them on Google and liked their reviews. I saw that they had an office in Miami, and I’m also in Florida, so they were very close to me.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

So far, we haven’t experienced any issues or bugs with TekRevol’s deliverables. Moreover, I’m very pleased with how responsive they are; whenever I ask for changes, they make them immediately.

How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?

TekRevol has met every deadline and is very attentive to my needs. Although they have offices near us, our collaboration has been virtual. We have a weekly meeting with them via Zoom, and we use Asana for project management. We also use email and communicate with Hassan via WhatsApp if needed.

What did you find most impressive about them?

TekRevol understood our project very well from the beginning, and so far, they’ve shown that they can keep their promises through their work.

We’re definitely getting what we’re paying for. Our team members have been really astounded by the app’s aesthetically-pleasing design and ease of use compared to our competitors.

TekRevol has performed well in terms of project management. They’re incredibly transparent. Whenever they encounter any problems or a bump in the road, they always let us know.

We use Asana for project management. I speak to their project manager on a daily basis through text messaging.

I’m the founder and creator of My Medical Planner, an application that will streamline and bridge the gap between chronic illness patients and doctors.

I needed a developer to develop my app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

TekRevol is helping me create a very complex and detailed mobile app with a lot of different features. Initially, I provided them with some drawings, sketches, and notes about what I wanted. Then, their team put together a plan to follow in a collaborative effort.

We’ve already finished the design phase, and we’ll go into the alpha and beta testing phases next before launching it. This app will be available for Android and iOS devices. Once launched, TekRevol will provide me with maintenance and hosting services.

One of our app’s most important features is the clipboard feature. When a patient is in the hospital or incapacitated in some way, their caregivers are able to communicate through one digital clipboard. On it, they can take doctor’s notes and see lab results and other results of tests done on the patient. This clipboard will keep everything in one place so that family members can keep abreast of the patient’s condition.

TekRevol has taken my ideas and turned them into features on my app; it has been very exciting to see my creations become real software solutions. Some of the most important features of my app haven’t been done before in the app world. Still, TekRevol has successfully developed them completely from scratch.

TekRevol has performed very well. The process has been perfectly streamlined, and their team is in constant contact with us. We’ve had a lot of setbacks due to personal reasons on my end; still, TekRevol has been very caring and compassionate about my current situation. They’ve paused the project when I’ve asked for it and restarted it when the time has been better. They use Asana for project management.

TekRevol's ability to take my drawings and ideas and bring them to life is impressive. I knew what I wanted, but it was hard for me to explain it. Still, they’ve been able to capture my thoughts exactly the way I wanted them. They’re very creative.

We’re in the alpha phase, so we’ll soon begin testing. In about a week, we’ll be able to see what works and what doesn’t. The screens we’ve seen so far are up to our standards.

Their team uses Asana to manage the project, which helps us understand where we are in the development process. We’ve had weekly meetings with them where they go over development updates. We’ve set our project timeline to end around December 2022, but we might actually be ready to go live as early as October 2022. 

Whenever we want to explore new avenues, they’ve been open to doing so without any additional cost. Their team is very easygoing. TekRevol’s team has been very approachable and communicative through Google Meet and Zoom.

Their strength lies in their professionalism, communication, and continuous follow-up.

We’ve had some connectivity issues, but that isn’t their fault. However, I would appreciate that being fixed.

Customers should follow TekRevol’s directions and ask as many questions as needed. Don’t be afraid to ask questions that may seem silly because TekRevol is always able to answer them. TekRevol will assist customers in any way they can.

TekRevol has built an Android and iOS app for us. Instead of our customers searching around and finding seminars on how to start a business, we’ve incorporated a step-by-step system on the app to help customers create their business. They also provide app store optimization and marketing services. Overall, their work involves design, development, and consulting.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We haven’t completely launched yet, but we’ve been able to do a soft launch to less than 1,000 users. In connection with that, the feedback we’ve received has been positive. Users love our content, design, and the concept of how everything has been placed. 

We also like that we haven’t experienced any bugs or crashes, and we’ve only encountered minimal things such as password reset and spinning for a little extra time. We plan to continue working with them for a long time. In fact, we want them to manage all of our customer communications.

How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?

TekRevol has handled everything very well, and they’re quick to fix things. They also have great communication skills. We like that they have a system that they implement for all of their customers on their database, so we never have to go ask them. We use Asana, Google Meet, WhatsApp, and email to communicate. Above all, they’re good at meeting deadlines and staying on budget.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their creativity has been impressive; they’re capable of expanding what we bring to them.

No. Their team is pretty fantastic.

Communicate with them and make sure that you provide a prompt response so that they won’t be waiting on you. In our case, they’ve given us a list of items to complete and we’ve been able to give it to them within 24 hours.

While we’re starting with the iOS platform, we’re also planning to make the product a web platform. 

In terms of key features, our app serves as a social media scheduler and publisher that’s focused on capturing and publishing content. It’s designed to make capturing media and collaborating easier for small business teams.

I work with a dedicated team in terms of the sales process. The team works on the scope of the project and ensures the engagement is lined up. They’re a key stakeholder in managing the project and our communication. We also work with the development team.

With that in mind, I researched local developers because I wanted to have an in-person connection with the team. I looked for teams in Houston — I’m a champion of local businesses — as I tried to put Houston on the map in terms of industries. 

Eventually, I found TekRevol online. I reach out to them, and they took a detailed approach in inquiring about the project and my requirements. We don’t have any quantitative feedback yet since we’re still in the design and development phase. Qualitatively, the team has great professionalism and knowledge. They have a smooth process for engagement, design, and development, and everything is maintained in a punctual and professional manner. 

How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is one of their main strengths. Their management style is highly structured, especially in terms of communication and collaboration. The software they use to communicate and demonstrate their designs has been useful for me to make decisions and give feedback. In other words, there’s been a healthy level of communication between us. I never feel like I’m being deprioritized. 

In terms of tools, TekRevol uses Asana. We also use Zoom calls; we’ve used this to meet their team and get to know the stakeholders. Their resources have come over to my office before, which I also appreciate because it’s a great way to get on the same page with them. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The TekRevol team has been pleasing and professional. Their work has been great, and there’s a level of discretion in their design team as per our guidance. Their resources have knocked the project out of the park. As a result, I’m happy that I’ve chosen them; I don’t know if I would have received the same quality from a different partner.

No, there aren’t any. They’ve satisfied all of our requirements; I’ve been pleased with their work and there’s nothing I’d change.

Make yourself as available as possible. That’s the key to a successful project because the TekRevol team will need as much information as possible upfront to make the process go quicker and smoother. They’ve created a landing page and are doing social media marketing and Google Ads. Also, they’ve created content and videos of me talking about the business.

Additionally, they’ll provide ongoing maintenance.

TekRevol is developing an app that allows our clients to book services and monitor the progress of their requests 24/7. Additionally, our agents can accept appointments and communicate with residents through the app.

Another vendor initially worked with us for this project, but they failed to meet our expectations. As such, we’ve had to start from scratch with TekRevol. I provided them with logos and the app’s previous version, which they’ve used n building the app. 

Additionally, TekRevol has helped us design the app, and they are also providing us with app marketing services. The development is ongoing, and we still have 2–3 months of work left before going live.

TekRevol’s quality of work and communication is exceptional. They host weekly update meetings for us every Monday. Beyond those meetings, they constantly update us on the ongoing efforts of building the application. They exceed our expectations when it comes to communication. From what I’ve seen, the app looks really good.

TekRevol is excellent at project management. We collaborate through Asana, where we can monitor tasks and communicate with each other.

TekRevol understands what we’re trying to accomplish. They have a great way of explaining technical concepts to a company like us that has no idea about technology or app development. Their communication and understanding skills are superb.
