Our PPC programs are profitable and produce a substantial amount of patients every week. These efforts have also lead to more brand awareness.

Punctual and concise. They only deliver usable information to me which is amazing because I just don't have the time to review or analyze more data than I already have to.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are transparent and took the time to understand what excactly my company does before ever making any recommendations. Their experience with other clients has also served us well as they share insights from all sorts of campaigns that we benefit from.

I worked with primarily one account manager who was supported with a design team. The CEO/founder was also very responsible and touched base with us along the way.

We saw some great early success in drawing attention to the product and saw some a large ramp in sales come through, about 150% increase from the start of our product launch.

They were very responsive to us and were able to go to great lengths to get the job done. They kept the lines of communication open with us and they were very fun to work with. Amazing sense of design was something that separated them from others and they have a ridiculous amount of knowledge when it comes to paid marketing.

The amount of testing and tweaking that they do. They understand the market is dynamic and that it requires a data driven approach.

Not really for me.

I've known Johnathan for many years and have used his team for a variety of paid search campaigns, primarily Google Adwords. For each of the portfolio companies the goals are similar, Targeted & Profitable Growth. KlintBoost has been able to produce consistent results and provide the expertise we've been able to trust.

Johnathan Dane is a thought leader I've followed for a long time, I've always enjoyed working with him and we've developed a high level of trust over the years. More importantly he knows how to build teams where he's able to disseminate that knowledge down to the campaign level.

Probably the most important thing that's done on the campaign level is the A/B and multivariate testing. KlientBoost does an incredible amount of landing page optimization. I've always appreciated the proactiveness in making suggestions based on the keyword research all the way down to the testing of different conversion ideas. Plus, everything they do on the design side is always beautiful.

Of course the main point of contact is going to be your account manager, but there are touch points during the process where you get to interact with the design team and I always make Johnathan keep tabs on our accounts.

Since they work on a few different accounts the best metric I can give is that we haven't ever quit using them. We've been able to achieve all of our growth and conversion goals.

KlientBoost is incredibly proactive, which we appreciated. They are always there if I have questions and of course we have our scheduled meetings too. They are super like minded individuals and have been able to integrate with the tools we were already using like Slack and Unbounce.

Agencies are difficult, generally because the founder is the real wizard. Amazingly this genius has trickled down to the account level.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There are always areas to improve. I love month-to-month agreements when dealing with any marketing agency, but I understand why some companies don't do them. Ultimately it didn't matter for us in the long run.

Our main goal was to generate new leads and customers from advertising. It was a new channel for us and we didn't have any in-house expertise.

KlientBoost seemed the most knowledgeable about the space and also were willing to guide us. Since we didn't have any PPC experience, we needed someone who could show us the way and they did exactly that.

The work was creating and managing Google Ad campaigns. KB came up with the strategy, figured out the keywords, wrote the ad copy, set up the campaigns, and managed them on a daily basis. They also gave us in-depth reports and guidance each week.

We didn't have a very large budget but even then, KB were able to get us high-quality leads and customers at a low cost per acquisition. This is in an industry where the CPCs are very high.

They are very communicative. They gave us reports each week and got on a call to walk us through the campaigns and also shared ideas for other marketing activities.

Their proactiveness and personal touch stood out to us. With most agencies, you're just one of many clients and they do only what's required of them. KB went above and beyond so we always knew we were in good hands. They were creative and came up with their own ideas, which is refreshing.

Ascent Cloud offers a suite of solutions for sales and customer facing teams to provide context to their CRM data. I am the Marketing Director here and head up the marketing efforts for Ascent Cloud and its two Salesforce applications, Geopointe and LevelEleven.

We were ready to branch into Google advertising but did not possess the skills in-house to effectively execute any type of digital advertising. We researched and had conversations with a few digital agencies before deciding KlientBoost would be the best option for our organization.

Simply to generated more leads for our two Salesforce applications, Geopointe and LevelEleven. Digital advertising was something we'd want to try for awhile and, with the impact of COVID, we were in need of new lead sources with in-person events being cancelled.

I visited sites such as Clutch to compare various agencies offering the services we were looking for. I narrowed down my top 3 or 4 choices, reached out to each and set up calls.

At the end I had narrowed it down to my top two choices and the gentlemen I worked with at KlientBoost, Matt, did a superior job with the presentation he sent over to me with all the information I needed to present to my leadership team. KlientBoost was also able to offer a little bit more for us, even though we are a small client we were (and still are) treated like a larger organization.

I've worked closely with our Account Manager to not only identify what our solutions offer and their key audiences, but as the year has progressed, so has the use of our solutions. Our Account Manager was always ready to shift and come up with new ideas to advertise these new uses of our solutions.

We have also been given great guidance on the set up of our landing pages (we opted to not include content creation in our contract due to budget) to help increase our conversion rates.

I have had the pleasure of interacting with a handful of individuals at KlientBoost; our Account Manager, his team lead, one of their VPs and the initial Account Executive I spoke with. Beyond that I am not familiar with the rest of the team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have definitely brought in qualified leads and closed deals from those leads. We've found the leads to follow the same patterns of any of our other inbound leads as far as length of sales cycle and value of the opportunities.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

My Account Manager and I meet biweekly which has been a great cadence for the needs we have as a customer. I also know I can reach out anytime and he will respond if something comes up between meetings. There was one point when our Account Manager was on vacation and I was provided no less than 3 names of individuals I could reach out to if I needed anything in his absence.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

1. They are continually looking for new ways or ways to improve what's already been successful to bring us in more leads.
2. We are a small organization but I don't ever feel like I'm treated like a small organization. Having so many people from KlientBoost show a vested interest in our success absolutely makes me want to invest more with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We switched to a consultation relationship because we wanted to relieve them of liability and control our account. At this point, we have a conversational relationship. KlientBoost knowledgeably answers our questions. We’ve seen increased traction and understanding of our program on a broader scale from our Facebook Ads campaigns.

We have a weekly call during which they give us advice while looking into our account. They’re organized, responsive, and flexible.

Our goals were to increase site traffic, decrease spend, and increase the quality of the traffic. We knew going in that this would be difficult to achieve, but KlientBoost definitely achieved these goals which resulted in substantial growth for us.

KlientBoost helped us with paid and non-paid marketing on Google and LinkedIn primarily. My team and I have weekly strategy discussions with KB, and they seamlessly executed. They were also very adaptable and were able to pivot on the fly with us as market dynamics changed.

There were four primary team members who worked face to face with us. Two on the paid side and two on the organic side. However, there were numerous KB team members in the background who were working on our project, but weren't interfacing with me regularly. Their support team continued to grow as our needs grew.

We increased our traffic over 10x. Our CPAs decreased by 20-25%. Our revenues and profits grew 6x. These metrics continue to improve over time. It's really been that simple.

Our workflow has been seamless. We have weekly meetings, and are talking with each other via email, chat, and Asana as well. KB handles feedback really well, and also know when to push back on our feedback. It's a fantastic working relationship and their communication has been spot-on. They manage expectations well and we never feel like they lead us on.

Friendly culture, expertise, adaptability, and laser focus on ROI. I couldn't ask for more really.

Paid Search and Paid Social involved management of an ad budget with deliverables tied to return on ad spend, while CRO involved reviewing and delivering key adjustments to the website to better drive conversions. Email Marketing involved a set number of monthly campaigns, and Creative was a support role.

KlientBoost assigned us varying teams for different tasks. For Paid Search, Paid Social and CRO, the agency assigned is one account manager who was our day-to-day, along with a digital specialist and a creative designer. A total of 3 people. For Email Marketing, the agency assigned is one account manager for day-to-day, and a secondary email specialist. A total of 2 people.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

In general, campaigns and activities resulted in positive revenue with ROAS in the 2-3 range. Without providing specifics due to privacy policies, the return on investment was positive although there's always room for improvement.

KlientBoosts project management style can be described as communicative and flexible. They were constantly in touch with updates and adjustments, and were always open to better ideas. Their primary tool of communication and project management was Asana, updated daily and with weekly meetings.

The most impressive component about KlientBoost is the team's knowledge and experience across all staff members. Each person we worked with seemed to have a good understanding of all areas of digital marketing, while specializing in select areas.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The main area that could have been improved is their creative design, which is very subjective. They offer creative design in regards to developing assets for PPC use, but we had to work closely with them to meet our standards.

We were able to see efficient CPAs, particularly within retargeting and branded search.

We had regular meetings and scheduled reporting to ensure that the flow of information was seamless. They were efficient in quickly turning on campaigns after we approved their strategies.

I felt that KB provided strong reporting for us, which has not always been my experience working with agencies. They provided enough detail that we could get a true understanding of what was happening in the channels, while still being digestible for the entire team to read.
